The official Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Twitter page posted the following image of a pretty awesome Sdcc tram, bearing a promotional banner for the upcoming fourth season of the ABC series. For Marvel Comics fans, the fiery chain will instantly call Ghost Rider to mind, and for that reason it's sparked a rumor that the Spirit of Vengeance could make his TV debut on the show next year. It's not outside the realm of possibility - after all, Marvel has the rights to the character back - but there is a far more likely explanation. Hellfire (Axle Whitehead) was introduced last season, and he also wields a flaming chain. Granted, by the end he was really just a henchman to Hive - but if this relates to him it definitely hints at a much larger role for the Aussie Inhuman next season. Hellfire does have ties to Ghost Rider though, so...

The Watchdogs Make A Big Mistake When They Target 'Hellfire' In This New Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Clip
Comic fans will probably be aware that the Marvel 616 version of Hellfire actually winds up joining the Secret Warriors and getting quite close to Daisy. It remains to be seen in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. incarnation follows suit, but based on this clip from tonight's penultimate season 3 episode, ol' James T. James is having a lot of fun serving Hive. “Emancipation” – With only two episodes left before S.H.I.E.L.D. loses one of their own, Daisy’s prophecy ticks closer towards a major loss, as the aftermath of the events of “Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War” force S.H.I.E.L.D. to register the Inhumans, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Tuesday, May 10 (9:00-10:00 p.m. Edt), on the ABC Television Network. Next week's installment of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. takes place after the events of Captain America: Civil War, so obviously a tie-in or two was inevitable. In this second clip from "Emancipation", Talbot has a sit down with Coulson in an effort to convince him to register his Inhuman recruits in accordance with the Sokovia Accords. Of course, it's no surprise that the Director is 100% #TeamCap and tells him where to go. The FitzSimmons romance was centre stage in this week’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., and John Hannah made an appearance...
This review contains spoilers.
3.18 The Singularity
Ever since its pilot episode, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. has teased the possibility of Fitz and Simmons getting together. The pair has gone through brain damage and separation since then, and now the showrunners are finally giving them a shot at togetherness. This week we saw them pretty much go on a date, albeit one where they’re actually on the job the entire time.
This whole plot strand was handled very well, from the cute ‘broken comms’ scene to the big moment at the end of the episode. Romance isn’t something that comic book TV shows always do well, but after three years of build up this felt like a satisfying payoff. Fitz’s event horizon comparison was a particularly strong concept delivered well.
