Rafael Oliveira is a young Portuguese, London, and Lisbon-based actor, singer, and dancer.
Rafael was born in Lisbon in 2002 and since the beginning of his life, he has shown passion, talent, and interest in a life in the performing arts world.
In 2020, Rafael moved to the United Kingdom, to enroll in the BSc (Honours) Communication and Media degree at Loughborough University which he finished with First Class Honours.
He was part of many theatrical productions such as 'Mamma Mia' (Sam), 'Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure' (Peter Pan), 'Kinky Boots' (Angels Ensemble), 'Dracula' (Attendant), 'Grease' (Danny Zukko), 'Hello Dolly' (Ensemble) and 'High School Musical' (Troy Bolton). In most of these productions, Rafael played the lead characters showing his ability to deliver strong, eclectic, and consistent vocal, dancing, and acting performances.
Rafael also had his film acting, writing, and directing debut with his short film called 'The Last Time I Saw You' which, in partnership with LSUTV, was nominated for Best Drama, Best Dramatic Performance (for Rafael's performance), and the Impact Award at the 2023 NAsTA Awards. Rafael's most recent project in television was the role of Rochester Footman in the MGM+ period drama 'Belgravia: The Next Chapter'.
Rafael is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. He is a high baritone and, throughout his life, he has trained dancing ballet, jazz, hip-hop, waltz, contemporary dance, folk, and vogueing.
