Uncanny Valley is a prolific, award winning, Sydney/LA based songwriting and music production team.
Founded by renowned dance music producer and classically trained pianist Justin Shave (Sia, Fatboy Slim, The Shapeshifters, The Potbelleez, Etherfox) and career songwriter and music supervisor Charlton Hill.
Uncanny Valley has worked simultaneously across the TV/streaming, recording and advertising industries for the last fourteen years, composing for many of Australia's most- watched series, themes, trailers and advertising campaigns. The team has also recently received global recognition for their progressive work in the use of artist-centric AI in music. With a significant presence in the world of screen music, Uncanny Valley has composed and produced over a decade of music for broadcast and streaming networks such as Paramount, ABC, BBC, Seven, Ten and SBS, news and sports themes including Fox League with artist release 'Here' (Briggs feat.Caiti Baker- AGSC award-winning), international brand campaigns from Renault F1/Infiniti's concept car theme to the launch of Disney Shanghai, and countless series themes and score, including more recently The Bridge (narrated by Hugo Weaving) and Emmy award-winning series Old People's Home for 4 Year Olds.
