- Everything that filmmaker Arnold Acevedo does springs from his experiences growing up in Long Island as the first generation son of Puerto Rican parents. As a stand-up comedian he made his television debut on NBC's Its Showtime at the Apollo. Since then Arnold has appeared on BET's Comic View, NBC's Law & Order, toured college campuses, and was chosen to perform at the Univision Consumer Insights through Comedy show during ad week, in front of advertisers from across the country. His writing credits include the pilot episode, entitled "La Botanica" for MUN2 animated comedy series, Lugar Heights. His latest work "Looking for These?" is a short comedic horror film he financed, wrote and directed himself through his production company Mosaic Mutiny.
