David Widder-Varhegyi

David Widder-Varhegyi is a writer and performing artist who works through stage, screen, and song. Graduating from Cedarville University with a BA in Theatre Performance, he then spent five years in character studies (construction, farming, teaching); returning to this industry, he recently trained classical voice for two years under Edward Washington II, tenor. David's stage work ranges from Shakespeare to the experimental. Notably, a 2023 Off-Off-Broadway appearance as the Televangelist in PROPHET$, an opera-theatre piece. His digital work ranges from indie short film to commercial. His tenor repertoire ranges from sacred literature to Elton John. He is also a produced playwright. David's objective is a life-long career asking questions, playing with text, and re-presenting stories. None of this is done alone. What will we do together?
