Tom Crooks
- Actor
Tom was born in Jersey City, NJ and has been on his own since he was 16. His parents are Clifford Crooks and Jacqueline Friend, but he was raised by his Grandmother, Dorothy Blackburn Crooks. Tom first dipped his toe into acting in High School, followed by a minor in Theater at Rutgers Mason Gross School of Arts. After graduating, Tom worked in Theater in Arsenic & Old Lace, Grease (his first Supporting Role as Doody), The Country Mouse (his first lead role as The Country Mouse) and The Nerd (as The Nerd). From 1993-2022, Tom left the Entertainment Industry, working in business as a CFO, then CEO of a Healthcare Company. During this time, he also became the proud father of twin boys, Matthew & Jack Crooks. When he sold the Company, he retired from business and went back to his love of acting. This started with his stint on Squid Game The Challenge, followed by acting roles in short films, commercials, his first feature film (Set Me Free) and his first TV pilot (The Job). His goals in 2024 are a national commercial, a speaking role on TV, another feature film and another competitive reality show. His motto is, It's Never Too Late - Go For It!
