Just how unlucky can someone get? That’s the question for Special Agent Justin Rosa (Kevin Dillon), arriving late for his first day on wire room duty. After being chewed out by surly superior Shane Mueller (Bruce Willis), the necessary exposition is shared about Justin’s role; to monitor and keep alive arms-smuggler Eddie Flynn (Oliver Trevena).
After examining the rules that he must follow, Justin is bored by the slow-moving pace of the job. As he leaves to use the bathroom, that’s the exact moment a Swat team descend on Eddie’s home to execute everyone inside. Justin panics upon returning as he sees the chaotic situation and breaks protocol by contacting Eddie directly to save his life.

A new episode of the Wtf Happened to This Horror Movie? video series has just arrived online, and in this one we’re looking back at the 2006 release Final Destination 3 (watch it Here) – a movie that wasn’t as popular as the previous two entries in the franchise, but at least it was more well-received than the fourth movie was. To find out what went into the making of Final Destination 3, check out the video embedded above!
Directed by James Wong, who also wrote the screenplay with Glen Morgan, Final Destination 3 has the following synopsis: Six years after a group of high school students first cheated death, another teen has a premonition that she and her friends will be involved in a horrifying roller-coaster accident. "You said to keep him alive…!" "I was wrong." Lionsgate has debuted the official trailer for Wire Room, another action thriller with Bruce Willis just like the many other junk movies they've been churning out with Willis for the last few years. I keep wondering how many of these they have up their sleeves, after the reveal of his cognitive disorder in March at least three or four of these film have appeared. So sad. While on Wire Room duty – a high-tech command center surveilling the most dangerous criminals – a federal agent listens in as the target is attacked in his home by a hit squad. Without burning the wire yet, he must protect the investigation and the target's life from the confines of a room fifty miles away. The film stars Kevin Dillon, Bruce Willis, Oliver Trevena, Texas Battle, Cameron Douglas, & Shelby Cobb. There are so many of these generic,...

The last of Bruce Willis’ films continue to trickle out, and the most recent one to come our way is Wrong Place, which reunites Willis with music supervisor turned director Mike Burns and writer Bill Lawrence, the team responsible for Out of Death. I won’t blame you if you give up on it after reading that.
Frank was a police chief, now he’s a security guard. But when we first see him he’s still a cop. He and his wife Maggie are drunkenly discussing their daughter Chloe being diagnosed with cancer. On the way home from their wine-soaked dinner he swerves to avoid a deer on the road. I’m sure you can guess the rest.

"You made a crucial mistake..." "I'm gonna do what I do best." Vertical Ent. has revealed an official trailer for Wrong Place, yet another of these B-movie crime thrillers with Bruce Willis. You thought they were done?! They've probably got a dozen more of these lined-up, sadly, clearly manipulating Bruce into just working and work. In this film, a meth cook hunts down the former police chief of a small town in order to silence him before he can deliver eyewitness testimony against his family, but ultimately finds himself up against more than he had bargained for when he threatens the chief's daughter. Starring Ashley Greene, Bruce Willis, Michael Sirow, Texas Battle, Stacey Danger, & Massi Furlan. This looks as formulaic and as obvious and as cheesy as expected. Unfortunately there's nothing to see with these final Willis films. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Mike Burns' Wrong Place, direct from...

Blowback is yet another film that begins somewhere in the midst of the story before cutting back to the beginning. In this case, the beginning is Nick playing chess with his hospitalized daughter. She needs an experimental, and expensive treatment to save her life. But a rideshare driver’s paycheck isn’t going to cover that.
Fortunately, he’s not exactly the most honest of people and knows a few people if you know what I mean. He gets a lead on some extremely valuable thumb drives being held at a local bank and decides to pull off a heist. Right from the start he makes a big mistake and involves his ex Veronica (Michele Plaia; Cloudy with a Chance of Sunshine) and her current man Jack.

We all know that Bruce Willis spends most of his acting days appearing in cash-grab cameos in an interminable number of direct to market films; films that pop up on supermarket shelves with Willis’ face front and centre as if he’s the star. Hard Kill is yet another example of this stage in Willis’ oeuvre.
Hard Kill is also yet another Emmett/Furla production, a company who seem to be following the Pm Entertainment model of churning out action movie after action movie, with actors who are either long-term mid-carders or, like Willis, are in the twilight of their career. I’m not complaining. There was, for quite some time, a distinct lack of mid-budget original action movie fare made in the US.

"If you want to survive, we're gonna have to work together." Another day, another awful new action movie with Bruce Willis. Too many of these already. Vertical Ent. has released a trailer for the action thriller Hard Kill. The work of billionaire tech CEO Donovan Chalmers is so valuable that he hires mercenaries to protect it, and a terrorist group kidnaps his daughter to get it. Another description says they must "stop a world-changing computer program from being triggered." Bruce Willis stars as Chalmers, with a cast including Jesse Metcalfe, Natalie Eva Marie, Tyler Jon Olson, Swen Temmel, and Texas Battle. This looks as cheesy and boring as every other Bruce Willis action flick these last few years. There isn't a scene where he doesn't wear the same scarf. In his latest direct-to-dvd effort, Trauma Centre, Bruce Willis plays Lt. Wakes, a vengeful police detective determined to solve the murders of his partner and an informant. Wakes joins forces with Madison (Nicky Whelan), a witness injured during the shootings. After the killers pursue Madison across the abandoned floor of a hospital, she confirms Wakes’s worst fears: the two men are actually corrupt vice cops covering up a crime.
Yet another Emmett/Furla production starring Willis, who might give Nic Cage a run for his money in terms of his appearances in Dtv movies, Trauma Centre is – at its core – another in the long line of Die Hard clones, only this time they got the original Die Hard star to appear in the film… Oh and did I mention we also get Steve Guttenberg?...

Bruce Willis has a new action thriller coming out called Trauma Center. It’s a hospital survival thriller and Willis takes on the role of Lt. Wakes, “a vengeful police detective determined to solve the murders of his partner and an informant.” As you’ll see, this is the kind of movie that Willis sleepwalks his way through. It’s sad when Willis looks like the least interesting part of the movie.
In the story, Wakes joins forces with Madison, “a witness injured during the shootings. After the killers pursue Madison across the abandoned floor of a hospital, she confirms Wakes’s worst fears: the two men are actually corrupt vice cops covering up a crime. As Wakes vows revenge, this heart-pounding action-thriller reaches an explosive climax.”

"Maddie! Don't make this harder than it already is!" Lionsgate at Home has debuted the first official trailer for a new low-grade action thriller titled Trauma Center, which is one of those vague and terrible titles for a film that doesn't setup anything. Alone and trapped in a locked-down hospital ward overnight, an injured woman must escape a pair of vicious killers who are after the only piece of evidence that can implicate them in a grisly murder - the bullet in her leg. Luckily, a veteran cop is assigned to protect her, and he becomes her protector as the night grows more dangerous. Bruce Willis stars as the cop, and Nicky Whelan as the woman, and also featuring Steve Guttenberg, Tito Ortiz, Texas Battle, Lynn Gilmartin, Tyler Jon Olson, and Heather Johansen. This definitely looks as bad as it sounds, another bargain bin collectible. Here's the first official trailer...

"Every minute gets him closer to the truth." Lionsgate has debuted an official trailer for a crime thriller film titled 10 Minutes Gone, the latest by mediocre action filmmaker Brian A. Miller (he also made Backtrace with Stallone last year). 10 Minutes Gone is a crime thriller that centers on a man whose memory has been lost due to a bank heist gone wrong. Frank must piece together the missing 10 minutes from his memory in order to determine who sabotaged him, confronting his team members one-by-one before the boss takes him out. Michael Chiklis stars as Frank, with Bruce Willis, Meadow Williams, Kyle Schmid, Texas Battle, Lydia Hull, Swen Temmel, John D. Hickman, Sergio Rizzuto, Geoff Reeves, and Tyler Jon Olson. This looks as bland and forgettable as everything Brian A. Miller makes, despite the two leading actors. And the awkward "trailer voice" in this is cringe-worthy. "So much for honor among thieves,...

Bill Paxton knows his old movies — and the star says his new CBS show “Training Day” will be chockablock with references to them. “Training Day,” premiering Feb. 2, is a series adaptation of the 2001 crime thriller starring Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke about two cops battling gang violence in Los Angeles. But it’s hardly the only famous movie the new show will name-check, both overtly and more slyly. One episode plays around with a famous Texas battle. “It’s … ‘The Alamo’ we all grew up with — John Wayne, Richard Widmark,” Paxton, 61, said Monday at the Television Critics...

Set one year after vampires, zombies and werewolves begin to appear in the San Fernando Valley area of California, leading to the creation of a new division of law enforcement to combat and regulate the new occupants, this series follows the daily patrol of the Utf (Undead Task Force) as they enforce the law against these larger than life supernatural citizens. The show is made up of a mix of genres, combining the mundane attitude of The Office with the slapstick police antics...

Quidditch made its way to Myrtle Beach, Sc, over the weekend, bringing with it plenty of broom-riding athletes and snitches. Created by author J.K. Rowling for her Harry Potter book series, quidditch is now a very real, competitive coed sport. And while the athletes may not technically be "riding" brooms, participants do have to play with broomsticks between their legs at all times. The annual Quidditch World Cup first kicked off in 2007, and although it started as a competition between two schools in the Northeast, it's now an international affair that features the top 80 teams in the sport. This year's competitions brought out teams from big-name universities like Harvard, Syracuse, Stanford, UCLA, the University of Michigan, the University of Texas, the University of Kansas, and more. It was a Texas battle in the finals, with the University of Texas beating Texas State University to capture its second consecutive championship. Keep...

The film won Outstanding Picture of the Year with Viola Davis winning Outstanding Actress and Octavia Spencer taking home the Outstanding Supporting Actress award. Taylor lost to "Jumping the Broom's" Salim Akil for Best Director because apparently, it's a better picture than "The Help!"

Cast: Texas Battle, Tania Raymonde, Bryce Johnson, Charlie Sanders, Bryan Callen and Caity Lotz.
Amazon.com is quickly burning MTV's "Death Valley" to disc. Produced on demand, this two disc set lists for $19.95 (Srp) and then there is shipping. As an uncensored set, some may wonder just what has not been un-bleeped out.
The only problem with the manufacture on demand program is that it is burned to disc on DVD-r recordable media, a nonpermanent medium. Die-hard tech junkies may not favour this method. The medium will wear out and this format reportedly has a lifespan of less than 5 years through repeated use.
The television series' story from Amazon: "[a] year ago, vampires, werewolves and zombies mysteriously descended upon the streets of California's San Fernando Valley. Death Valley is the dark comedy that follows the cops that capture the monsters, and the camera crew that captures the cops.

First and foremost, a big thanks to all of our listeners out there! "Death Valley" ended its twelve show running November 21st with "Peace in the Valley." This was another short episode that packed in a lot of plot developments in twenty minutes. The vampires in the valley declared peace, John John (Texas Battle) and Rinaldi (Tania Raymonde) shared a kiss and a new creature was prowling the San Fernando Valley in murderous style. Only one question remained; will there be a second season?
That question has not been answered yet. In this episode, there was a lot of action and very little comedy. There was an awkward enema at the hospital, but this episode stayed mostly with the tone of drama. The peaceful meeting between the Undead Task Force and the vampires in the city started off well and then, ended badly. John John and Rinaldi are getting closer,...

This horror fan has been away from MTV's "Death Valley" for awhile now. The latest show called "Partners" got this reviewer back on track as John John (Texas Battle) lies in the hospital after a zombie attack. There is also a mole in the Undead Task Force's ranks who has stolen some weapons. Officer Pierce (Bryce Johnson) is moving in on the rookie cop for a date in the captain's office and the vampires want a peace treaty after the death of Rico (R. J. Cantu). All of this action happens in a fairly lighthearted twenty minutes.
The main plotline of the show involved a mole selling out the rest of the unit. Cpt. Dashell (Bryan Callen) has Stubeck (Charlie Sanders) on the job and while compiling info' from recorded tapes he finds something strange. Viewers will have to watch to...

The most recent episode of "Death Valley" shown on MTV is "Who, What, When, Werewolf...Why." In this showing, writer Jennifer Rice-Genzuk Henry uses the three story structure again to tell a tale of a werewolf, a vampire and a zombie. John-John (Texas Battle) and Carla (Tania Raymonde) are again on zombie patrol and this time they have to dispose of their own bodies. Kirsten (Caity Lotz) dates a werewolf and Joe (Charlie Sanders) faces a foe from the past. The comedy was mostly lacking in this episode; instead, there are a few more thrills in this short, twenty minute episode.
Kirsten's Bff turns out to be an unregistered werewolf and really the scruffy beard and poofy hair should have given him away. Not to worry, Joe comes to her rescue. As well, this episode celebrates Carla's birthday...

MTV pushes along with their comedy series "Death Valley." In Epis. 6, "The Hottest Day of the Year," there are again three stories, two of which involve zombies. The other story follows Officer Kristen to a vampire turning party. The laughs return as a Mickey Rourke look-a-like is run over several times and the silly jokes seem to bring out the most laughs. This episode has lots of humour in this short twenty minute episode.
John-John (Texas Battle) and Carla (Tania Raymonde) are now being shadowed by an internal affairs officer after the killing of a senior citizen. The new policy called "Pus" puts the protocol into zombie bashing unnecessarily. This leads to the policymaker's death. At the same time, in front of the officer's location, Billy (Bryce Johnson) and Joe (Charlie Sanders) also take on some of the undead via their patrol car.

Actress Tania Raymonde may be best known to millions worldwide as Alex Rousseau from ABC's series "Lost", but it's her latest television role that very well could define the next chapter of her career.
On MTV's newest genre series "Death Valley", Raymonde plays Carla Rinaldi, the no-nonsense badass member of the Utf (Undead Task Force) that hits the streets of the San Fernando Valley nightly to keep the peace amongst the humans living there and the undead masses now lurking everywhere- including zombies, werewolves and vampires. Each night Carla and her smooth-talking partner John "John John" Johnson (Texas Battle) hit the streets of the Valley in hopes of keeping the streets (and each other) safe and undead free.

There have been many films created about a legendary monster spotted in and around Texarkana. The creature has been called the Fourke Monster, but here the hairy villain will be known more simply as bigfoot or the Sasquatch. There have been at least three other Boggy Creek films beginning in 1972 and this reviewer admits to not seeing any of the previous films (The Legend of Boggy Creek, Return to Boggy Creek). Boggy Creek, starring Texas Battle ("Death Valley"), Melissa Carnell (Humans Versus Zombies), Julin (Sweatshop) and Denise Williamson (Spirit Camp), in a very under the radar release in this series as Hannover House did not promote the September 13th release on DVD at all. The lack of tension in a supposed horror movie explains why there was little fan fare.

*here be some spoilers.
Director: Drew Daywalt.
Writer: Matthew Lawton.
The new "Death Valley" series from MTV is much like Shakespeare's shortest work, "The Comedy of Errors." Instead of mistaken identities there are mistaken motivations. One character, unknowingly, does not appreciate his partner enough, while Captain Dashell (Bryan Callen) is still struggling to understand his sexuality. This leads to all sorts of awkward dialogue from him: "I regulate my semen count. You want to know how?" or "Do you want me to come in for coffee?" Dashell is completely oblivious to the underlining meta message of homosexuality in his dialogue and John John (Texas Battle) does his best to keep an awkward distance. Other plots points in Epis. 5, "Zombie Fights" include more zombie madness, cage fights, a lost relative found, a cliffhanger ending and a Lloyd Kaufman zombie look-a-like to round out the evining. These subplots and the use of...

"Death Valley" is a welcome addition to the small screen community of horror comedies. Its style is almost like "Seinfeld," a show about nothing, and where this show takes its inspiration from is almost like "Cops." Viewers are riding along in the backseat to witness what the Lapd Undead Task Force does throughout the day.
Cameras are supposed to follow two teams as they deal with vampires, werewolves and zombies that have decided to take up residence in the San Fernando Valley. No explanation is required for these appearances, and for the most part, the citizens have learned to deal with it. The authorities simply organized a special strike force to handle these beasts as though they are another category of criminals. While these officers will not last a moment in an actual police force (they're...

Episode 2, "Help Us, Help You," is available to watch at the MTV homepage for United States viewers and on the MTV Channel through re-airings for Canadians. Originally shown September 5th, this latest episode of "Death Valley" saw a lot of the same moments from the original. Yet, the show remains inappropriately funny. Gags on one-night stands, a sexually harrassing Police Captain and a theme of homo-eroticism should keep most watchers squirming and laughing in their seats. This is the second episode in a series that sees vampires, werewolves and zombies bounding about the San Fernando Valley. Full of comedy in the initial episode, this second chapter seemed to struggle a little near the end.

"Death Valley" is MTV's latest production, which takes place in Los Angeles. Produced in bite size episodes of about twenty minutes, the first episode of this show was aired in Canada September 6th. The show involves several Lapd officers who must deal with vampires, zombies and werewolves in comedic fashion. There are lots of great lines like "hands up vampire tits," or bizarre shots of nude women on iPhones and "I do it for them!" Pretty funny the whole way throught, the pilot episode of "Death Valley" had this viewer cracking up.
Stubeck (Charlie Sanders), Kirsten (Caity Lotz), Carla (Raymonde) and an angry Captain (Callen) immerse the watcher in a Los Angeles filled with vampire prostitutes and donut making zombies. The tension is broken up by a large amount of commercial breaks; this viewer counted 5 breaks in a half hour.

MTV's Death Valley takes us inside the world of the Undead Task Force, a group of Lapd officers in charge of controlling and combating the recent influx of zombies, vampires, and werewolves that have invaded the San Fernando Valley. You'd think that this would be a gruesome, brutally violent bit of television, but Death Valley zigs when you expect it to zag, as the show's mockumentary style makes the show feel like the officers from Reno 911! were let loose in Bon Temps, Louisiana.
The recently debuted poster gives an up close and personal look at Death Valley's interpretation of the zombie, one of the three major species of supernatural beings currently giving headaches to Capt. Dashell (Bryan Callen) and company. The Death Valley zombie is less Romeo-circa-1968 and more new age, as vampire prostitute Sofia had a zombie pimp and the series opened with a chase between Stubeck (Charlie Sanders...
