"Do you think it's possible for the things we do in our dreams to change our lives while we're awake?" I'd say no, but that's just my guess? Gravitas has revealed an official US trailer for an indie horror thriller from Canada titled Wintertide, directed by John Barnard. This premiered at various festivals throughout 2023, including at the Brussels, Cinequest, Sci-Fi London, Palm Beach, and Dances With Films Festivals. Set in an isolated northern city battling a plague of depression that mutates it's victims into zombie-like automatons, a woman discovers the key to immunity lies within her dreams. Beth is a volunteer watchperson in this city fighting a plague of depression that transforms the few remaining residents. Will her own dreams be enough to sustain her? Niamh Carolan stars as Beth, along with Solange Sookram, Jeremy Walmsley, Jesse Nobess, Colleen Furlan, Darcy Fehr, John B. Lowe, and Onalee Ames. I dig the dark,...

Blood is a horror film directed by Brad Anderson starring Michelle Monaghan.
A horror film in which, curiously, the acting is outstanding.
And this is not exactly good for the genre: don´t do much scarin’.
Movie Review Blood (2022)
Blood is a movie that, despite its title, does not cause an impact that it should in the retina of the viewer, at least for a (supposedly) horror film.
This is a good movie in all senses, from the technical level all the way to the development of the characters and the settings. It has rhythm and takes its time to do the presentations, in developing the feelings of the child and the dog correctly, but this development, which is kind of tiresome, will detract the horror from the fans who expect something a little more impacting, and above all, horrifying.
Blood, in this sense, is almost a realistic film with suspense.

Sarah Paulson stars as a disturbed mother threatening a wheelchair-bound daughter in the horror movie, Run.
Sarah Paulson is certainly no stranger to the horror genre, notably known as a repertory player on Ryan Murphy’s near-decade-running American Horror Story television anthology iterations. However, the upcoming Lionsgate horror film, Run, will have Paulson star as its addled antagonist, a disturbed mother who, having waited hand and foot on a wheelchair-bound teenage daughter (Kiera Allen), has become dangerously unhinged.
Aneesh Chaganty directed Run, working off a script he co-wrote with Sev Ohanian, replicating the same creative coalition from Chaganty’s 2018 feature debut, the mystery thriller Searching, which starred Star Trek’s John Cho.
Run Trailer
The trailer for Run has arrived, spotlighting the dual nature of the film’s oddly-close mother/daughter duo; one in which the Paulson’s mother role is a caring, doting and even educating figure to a non-ambulatory daughter,...

Unaccomplished artist, who lives with his crazy mom, becomes infatuated with the new next door neighbor which sets off a chain of tragic events.
Love At First Kill is certainly an interesting movie, if a bit too familiar upon first impression. Love At First Kill keeps the viewer engaged with an involving mystery that keeps viewers wondering as to what new plot development is going to unfold or what is lurking behind the facade of its characters, even if all seems a bit too predictable at the beginning. The film's mystery is accentuated by atmospheric photography and suspenseful set pieces. Love At First Kill also brings the heat sexually as the film's provocative scenarios help to deepen the tension and unease throughout. Love At First Kill is highlighted by fine performances all around.
