We first chatted with Onir about I Am way back in 2009, the film was still in production with I Am Abhimanyu complete and I Am Omar getting ready to go to the floor and still two more films I Am Meghna and I Am Afia to be made. I Am explores stories not usually seen in Hindi films including sexual abuse, discrimination against homosexuals, artificial insemination and ethnic cleansing in Kashmir. About the film Onir told us, “When it is released in theaters, I want people to see it as cinema with interesting content, telling them stories they have not heard about. I don’t want it to be perceived as a public service documentary I am making. It is a film, a film with a certain important content, which makes you also think. It should entertain as a film, but at the same time it makes you think.”

Soham Shah's remake of the 80's hit Satte pe Satta will now star Madhuri Dixit. Sanjay Dutt, who was very keen to have Aishwarya in the film, asked Madhuri to step in because director Soham Shah wanted her. Buzz has it that earlier Shah had approached Aishwarya Rai and Bipasha Basu, among others, but nothing finalised. In the movie Sanjay will reprise the role played by Big B in the original cult classic, whereas Madhuri will be seen in the character played by Hema Malini in the original. The duo had set the screen on fire with their sizzling on screen chemistry in blockbusters like 'Saajan' and 'Khalnayak'.

After months of speculation on who would star opposite Sanjay Dutt in Satte Pe Satta remake, the official announcement has now been made and it's none other than Madhuri Dixit who has bagged the coveted role. While Sanjay Dutt will reprise the role played by Big B in the original cult classic, Madhuri will be seen in the character played by Hema Malini in the original. It may be recalled that Madhuri and Sanjay have been part of several hit films in the past such as Saajan, Khalnayak and Thanedaar. Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt have been friends for ages with movies together like ‘Saajan’, ‘Chal Mere Bhai’ in the 90s.
But the once thick pals aren’t even on talking terms now. In fact the rumour is that Salman refused to be a part of Sanjay’s home production film which rubbed him the wrong way. Since then they probably snapped ties and are not even on talking terms.
Sallu is a good friend and a bad enemy. His track record shows that. Sanju should keep that in mind too
Salman currently is busy campaigning for all his friends but is not supporting Sanjay. Interestingly.

The Mumbai-based Valuable Group has acquired MovieBeam, the wireless video-on-demand system originally launched by Disney in 2005.
The system utilized a set-top box, to which Disney delivered 10 new movies per week which were available for rental. The system never really developed much traction, though, and in March 2007, Movie Gallery, the movie and game rental company, acquired MovieBeam.
Thursday, Valuable, headed by Sanjay Gaikwad, announced that it is the latest company to take over MovieBeam and all its assets. Terms of the deal, engineered by private equity firm Dar Capital, were not disclosed, but Valuable said it will earmark $100 million over the next two years to relaunch the system in North America, the U.K. and overseas markets. By the end of this year, it plans to begin by rolling out the service in three markets.
"This acquisition was a strategic fit in our global expansion strategy," Gaikwad said. Valuable will use MovieBeam "to deliver ethnic and Hollywood content to homes and the hospitality industry worldwide. Films will be delivered in high definition and viewers will get access to library films as well as the latest releases on a first day, first show basis."
Ameya Hete, executive director of the Valuable Group and CEO of MovieBeam, spearheaded the initiative and said, "This service will completely redefine the on-demand entertainment market. We have added some cutting edge features to the MovieBeam service that will bring additional and currently unrealized revenues back to the entertainment industry and the deserving constituents."
After launching India's first Infrastructure Business Process Platform for the gaming industry, Valuable went on to launch UFO Moviez, India's first, satellite-based digital cinema network, servicing over 1,200 theaters.
Valuable has established an office in Los Angeles; its latest acquisition brings with it a development facility in Seattle.
