The single, released on March 2, kicks off Kids Help Phone‘s new initiative to help Canadian youth “feel out loud” and express their emotions in a safe and supported way, anchored by a fundraising goal of $300 million to reach every young person in Canada by 2024 by expanding access to Kids Help Phone’s e-mental health services.

For so many Bipoc rock fans in the early aughts, Fefe Dobson’s presence was a breath of fresh air in a very white scene. It seemed like she never got a fair shake: Label and promotional issues caused album delays and a mixed commercial performance for her early releases.
With her new single, “Fckn in Love,” Dobson arrives back on the scene just in time. Nostalgia for the sound that made her famous is back en vogue: Everyone from Willow Smith to Olivia Rodrigo has been trying on tough and angsty pop-punk for size.

Ambers Stevens West has starred in a handful of iconic shows over the years, including Greek and The Carmichael Show, but for the actress, her recent role on Starz's Run the World is definitely her most meaningful. The series, which premiered on May 16, follows four Black women living in Harlem as they navigate life, friendships, and relationships. While roles like Ashleigh on Greek helped start Stevens West's career (and introduced her to her now-husband Andrew West), the actress told Popsugar that Run the World is super special because it has the most value to her in her personal life and as an actress. "I stretched myself in a direction that I haven't before," she said about the role.
After previously starring on network TV, Stevens West was excited (and a little nervous) about the opportunity to appear on a Starz series. "The show approached me and they were saying,...

Does Becky blame herself for Adam’s death? Watch our exclusive clip from the ‘Degrassi’ summer finale!
If you got all choked up over Adam’s death on last week’s Degrassi, you’re definitely going to want to have tissues handy during the Aug. 22 summer finale. The scene below finds Becky preparing an informal memorial service for her (ex?)boyfriend, with pals Jenna (Jessica Tyler), Ali (Melinda Shankar) and Connor (Aj Saudin) by her side. Warning: Stop reading if you haven’t seen the Aug. 15 episode of ‘Degrassi!’
When Adam (Jordan Todosey) crashed into a tree in the final moments of Degrassi‘s Aug. 8 episode, I’m sure we all had similar thoughts, ranging from “He’ll be fine” to “Maybe he’ll have a broken leg.” But no one could have predicted just how serious this accident would be — nor the weight of the message it would carry.
On the Aug. 15 episode, we learned that Adam, in fact, died from his head-on collision with the tree.
The following is a statement released by Linda Schuyler, Degrassi‘s executive producer and co-creator, discussing Adam’s legacy:
Adam Torres has been one of the most important characters we have ever featured, and Jordan Todosey brought him to life brilliantly. This year, the creative team was presented with the challenge of telling a realistic story about the...

Big changes (and big names) are coming to the TeenNick drama!
The wait is finally over; Degrassi kicks off its 13th season tonight, and what would a major Canadian television event be without a visit from Canadian pop-rock royalty? Fefe Dobson takes the stage during the hour-long premiere — airing at 9 p.m. Est on TeenNick — and HollywoodLife.com has a pair of exclusive pictures from her highly anticipated performance.
Fefe burst onto the music scene in 2003 with her debut album, Fefe, and immediately made a name for herself. Her single “Take Me Away” made her a household name in the United States — that video lived on Trl forever — and she’s continued pumping out catchy tunes ever since. Fefe is currently working on her fourth studio album, yet-to-be titled, which she officially announced in Jan. 2013.
And just because I love you, here’s another exclusive shot of Ms. Dobson doing her thing:

Lights is a pretty and successful pop star. But that's now. Back when she was known as Valerie Poxleitner, she was just another teenage girl whose own light was dimmed by bullies for the crime of being different.
"In high school I not only didn't have a whole lot of friends, I went to a lot of different schools because we moved a lot. I ended up just keeping to myself and trying to get my work done and do my thing. I wasn't particularly stylish. I was kind of lanky. I didn't grow into my body yet," Lights tells Huffington Post backstage at Free the Children's We Day youth rally in Calgary, where bullying has become a topic in the wake of Amanda Todd's suicide.

The Canadian Press -- Toronto - Lady Gaga won two awards and provided a double shot of her trademark edgy, eccentric stage theatrics at Sunday's MuchMusic Video Awards — but it was a surprise appearance from beloved teen-pop star Justin Bieber that really sent fans into a frenzy.
Bieber wasn't promoted as one of the evening's celebrity guests, but the 17-year-old teen-pop titan from Stratford, Ont., seemingly couldn't resist coming out to support his girlfriend Selena Gomez, the Disney-reared star who hosted the outdoor bash.
The couple may have shared a kiss at the Billboard Music Awards a few weeks ago, but on Sunday they shared the spotlight, inspiring a screaming throng of teens that clogged downtown Toronto streets all day to elevate their shrieking to a deafening crescendo.
"I want to say thank you so much to all my fans, you guys are amazing," Bieber said as he accepted his first award of the evening,...

Bieber and Drake shared a trophy for International Video of the Year by a Canadian, winning over Arcade Fire, Avril Lavigne and Fefe Dobson. The pop singer and rapper accepted the award from actor Colin Farrell and co-host Selena Gomez.
Before thanking his fans, Bieber had a rather awkward, but sweet encounter with girlfriend Selena. He put his arm around her and said, "Selena, nice to meet you. I'm Justin. You're very beautiful. Maybe we can go out some time?" Drizzy, meanwhile, went straight to deliver his gratitude, saying "I just want to say even though this is for International, I just want to say we both do it for Toronto.

Hellcats traveled back to the 1980s this week, but it didn't leave any tension in the past. Read through our critic's review of "Back of a Car" Here.
The CW will air another new episode of this series next Wednesday, and it will deal with the aftermath of Dan and Marti's mistake... or non-mistake, if you hear Dan explain it below.
Look for Savanna to head home on "Finish What we Started" because she needs a break from her roommate, while singer FeFe Dobson will perform. But this preview is almost all about Dan and Marti. Do you want to see them together?

November is here, and you probably know what that means for television: Sweeps! It’s that bountiful time of the TV season when the networks try to ramp up viewership as much as possible so they can set their advertising prices for the year. All of which means means we’ll see crazy guest stars! Specials! Awards shows! Big interviews! For example, Cher is going on 20/20 to talk Burlesque Nov. 19; ABC is airing the Country Music Awards on Nov. 10; Oprah will sit down with the Jackson clan on Nov. 8; and Gwyneth Paltrow, well, she’s appearing on both the CMAs on Nov.

Fefe Dobson has her music video for single "Stuttering" making its way out for fans' viewing pleasure. The Canadian singer/songwriter is so enraged when suspecting her man is cheating on her. But she gets confused when the guy, she thought was her boyfriend, does not even recognize her.
"Stuttering" is one of the singles from Fefe Dobson's soon-to-be-released studio album "Joy" which is slated for November 30 U.S. release. The song is co-written by Claude Kelly and comes from production hands of J.R. Rotem.
In this new album, the 25-year-old Island Def Jam artist is rumored to have one featured guest Orianthi in a song called "Can't Breathe". She also gets help from Kara DioGuardi and Kevin Rudolf in the songwriting desk.
