- Was born in Birmingham, the same Region as Ozzy Osbourne as well as Tony Iommi.
- Sang as Iron Maiden's frontman for two albums: The X-Factor and Virtual XI
- Was originally frontman for WolfBane, who toured with Iron Maiden as their opening act. After Bruce Dickinson left Iron Maiden, Blaze auditioned and became his successor.
