Belle & Sebastian Accidentally Leaves Drummer at a Walmart: 'S---! We Left Richard in North Dakota!'
Scottish pop band Belle & Sebastian showed up to a gig in Minnesota missing something very important: their drummer.
Frontman Stuart Murdoch enlisted the help of Twitter users on Tuesday after the band left North Dakota, forgetting pajama-clad drummer Richard Colburn in a local Walmart in the process.
“S—, we left Richard in North Dakota,” Murdoch tweeted. “Anyone want to be a hero and get him to St Paul, Minnesota somehow. The gig hangs in the balance..”
Shit, we left Richard in North Dakota. Anyone want to be a hero and get him to St Paul, Minnesota somehow. The gig hangs in the balance.

Los Angeles — Four years after a private eye went to prison for wiretapping phones of the rich and famous on behalf of celebrities and Hollywood heavyweights, his clients are facing hefty bills for his skullduggery.
In the first of more than a dozen lawsuits against Anthony Pellicano's well-heeled clients, a jury last week ruled against the ex-wife of a billionaire philanthropist, awarding $4 million to his three adult children and former personal assistant after she violated their privacy.
The verdict could spell trouble for other former clients who have been sued, such as Paramount studio head Brad Grey and one-time superagent Michael Ovitz.
The case against the ex-wife, Jacqueline Colburn, is the first to be tried before a jury stemming from a criminal probe that ensnared Pellicano for targeting Sylvester Stallone, Garry Shandling and Kevin Nealon and for work he did for others like Chris Rock and an attorney who...

Gary Lightbody (of Snow Patrol) enlisted an impressive roster of players including R.E.M.'s Peter Buck and Belle and Sebastian's Richard Colburn to help him "write a twisted love-letter to the States," that became known as Tired Pony.
The collaboration resulted in an album of folk infected songs called, "The Place We Ran From," inspired by the likes of Wilco, Palace Brothers, and Smog and riddled with guest conspirators like Zooey Deschanel, M. Ward, and Editors' Tom Smith.
Lightbody did most of the songwriting between Snow Patrol gigs for their "A Hundred Million Suns" tour, then assembled his team in Portland starting with frequent allies Troy Stewart, and Iain Archer. Producer "Jacknife" Lee, who's worked with U2, Snow Patrol and R.E.M., helped bring in Buck and that iconic haircut.

Tired Pony reveals its superstar ingredients in the first few minutes of the album-opener, “Northwestern Skies,” as the voice of Gary Lightbody—singer for UK superstar group Snow Patrol—quietly collides with Peter Buck’s mandolin, airlifted from R.E.M.’s Out Of Time. The supergroup, which also includes Belle & Sebastian’s Richard Colburn and guest turns from She & Him’s Zooey Deschanel and Editors’ Tom Smith, was Lightbody’s idea. He originally conceived of it as a country album, but casual fans of his main band won’t be able to tell the difference between Snow Patrol and ...
