Strategic Partners (Sp), September 14–16, 2017, is one of the world’s most established co‐production/co-financing markets. This year continues its second of a two-year Spotlight on the Nordic Region and the USA.

Last week we got word that Canadian TV network Space had committed to a second season of "Bitten," their most-watched original series ever, and Syfy is hot on their heels with an announcement of their own...

Syfy has acquired the popular supernatural thriller "Bitten" for a second season consisting of 10 all-new episodes. Production on Season 2 will begin this summer in Toronto, and the series, from leading independent studio Entertainment One (eOne), will return to Syfy in 2015.

We tried really hard to watch "Bitten" on Syfy, but the experience proved to be too painful for us to endure. Apparently we were in the minority because the toothy little series has just gotten an order for a second season. Read on for details.
