LeAnn Rimes, and her new friends, are set to host the 29th Annual Country Showdown National Final, the country's longest-running and largest country music talent search.
The newly-engaged Rimes returns for a fifth consecutive year to host the Showdown, which sees five regional winners competing for a grand prize of 0,000 in the National Final. The finalists this year are Carin Mari, Greg Scudder, Kendall Phillips, Reggie Shaw, and Jaclyn North.
They'll be judged by some major industry players, including Lisa Ramsey-Perkins of Sony , Rod Essig of Creative Artist Agency, John Ozier of Curb Records, B.J. Hill of Warner/Chappell and Brian Mansfield.
The 29th Annual Country Showdown will be televised and is scheduled to air in syndication throughout February and March.
