Lauren Fritz-Mariner
Born and raised in Iowa, Lauren attended the University of Northern
Iowa, Cedar Falls where she was a member of the "Orchesis," Dance Co.
and the Panther Pom squad. Lauren moved to Baltimore, MD, in 1989 and
appeared in the film, "He Said, She Said." Following several local
modeling and television jobs, Lauren received a B.A. in Communications
from Salisbury State University, Maryland. A strong supporter of the
Miss America Scholarship Organization, Lauren held several local titles
and competed in the 1994 Miss Delaware Scholarship Pageant, placing
Third Runner-up and the title, "Most Photogenic." Lauren was hired by
WMDT TV as the "Entertainment Editor" for the a.m. broadcast and
briefly worked in radio, honing her skills in commercial writing and
voice. Lauren is continuing her acting studies at The Weist Barron
Academy in NYC. She has appeared in Wedding Crashers, National Treasure
II, Guiding Light and Rescue Me.
