In the latest issue of the Guardians of the Galaxy comic titled "I Shall Make You a Star-Lord," Marvel revealed that not only is Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, bisexual, but he's also in a polyamorous relationship with a couple named Aradia and Mors. The question as to whether or not this will be made canon with Chris Pratt's version of the character in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has yet to be answered. Marvel Studios was unavailable for comment when Entertainment Weekly previously reached out about the idea making its way into the McU.
"It would be fantastic if the McU portrayed Star-Lord as bisexual, however, with Pratt's involvement and the lengths they've gone to making the character a ladies' man, we're not holding our breath."
With characters like Wiccan, Hulkling, and Mystique, Star-Lord isn't the first LGBTQ+ character from the Marvel comics. Thanks to the...

Exclusive: The fourth and final season of Kit Williamson’s Emmy-nominated Lgbtq series Eastsiders will be available on Netflix on December 1.
Thanks to a Kickstarter campaign that raised over $140,000 from fans, Eastsiders, a co-production with Wolfe Video, will be back with a fourth season that picks up with the Silver Lake gang one year later. Executive produced by Williamson and his husband John Halbach, who also star, the six-episode Season 4 tackles heavy, adult-world questions like how do two human beings make love last? What does commitment really look like in a long-term relationship? And what unique challenges does a “gay marriage” present?
Cal (Williamson) and Thom (Van Hansis) are back home from Season 3’s cross-country road trip, still a couple but wondering if they are really just best friends with benefits. Douglas (Willam Belli) and Quincy (Stephen Guarino) are engaged to be married, but with very different ideas about what a gay wedding should be.

The eighth season of AMC’s The Walking Dead recently commenced production in southern Georgia, and some of the cast members have begun to share images from the set to their social media accounts. Up until now, they’ve all been fairly innocuous little character teases, but the latest pic from series newcomer Daniel Newman may have just spoiled a pretty major plot point.
Newman, who plays a Kingdom soldier named Daniel, shared an Instagram photo (which has since been deleted) of himself alongside Andrew Lincoln (Rick) and Jeremy Palko (Andy), and the trio appear to be hanging out at the Saviors’ compound. This would obviously seems to confirm that Rick will be taking the fight to Negan after the villain’s defeat in the season 7 finale, and it also suggests that a significant battle from the source material is on the horizon.

First of all, I'd like to apologize for the extreme lateness of this "Vampire Diaries" recap. In my defense, I was busy on Thursday night -- busy hanging out with Joseph Morgan and getting you all the scoop on the budding Klaus/Caroline romance -- so I'm hoping you'll forgive me just this once!
Hopefully the late recap doesn't imply that I didn't love this episode. In fact, it may rank as my favorite "Tvd" episode ever. An unexpected connection, a Stefan/Klaus showdown, and tons of quality time with my fave, Matt Donovan? Count me in.
Previously on "The Vampire Diaries": Damon and Elena totally kissed, and some other stuff happened.
8:00 - Okay, I know all the "Vampire Diaries" fans love a good Damon shower scene, but I can't be the only one who was cracking up as he creepily smiled to himself while hosing down. Who does that?...

New mysterious human arriving in ep 11 & more in this new Vampire Diaries season 3 spoiler. Hey Vd fans we just got a new, spoiler scoop from Spoiler TV. Apparently, Vampire Diaries is bringing on a new, mysterious human named Darren Warren in episode 11. I say, mysterious, because there is no damn info on the net about what he will be doing on the show. Hell, the only reason why we know he's on the show,is because it appeared in his IMDb acting credits. I was barely able to find out that he was human. Luckily, Vampirediaries wikia gave us,at least, that much. Your guess is as good as mine as to what he will be doing. Maybe he'll just be more snacks for Klaus or the other vampires, which,I think, is highly likely since there wasn't a big deal made about his appearance. Hey, but who knows, he...

Also on the way from the Bay are Blaine Cade and Jason Horton’s zombie opus Edges Of Darkness (September 22, $19.97), the Happy Madison-produced,...

Donald Borchers' take on the Stephen King tale Children of the Corn is set to air on SyFi (that's the former Sci-Fi Channel) this September. An exact date has not been announced, but a debut month is more info than anything we've got on the redo since it rolled cameras last year. The film stars David Anders, Kandyse McClure, Daniel Newman ( interview ) and Dexter 's Preston Bailey. Much like the 1984 adaptation, the film follows two travelers as they roll through a town in Nebraska where all of the children have slaughtered the adults. Anchor Bay Entertainment will handle DVD distribution sometime after the film makes its television premiere.

Donald Borcher's Children of the Corn remake (can we really call movies based on book remakes?) is currently rolling in Iowa, but news on who's appearing in the film has been slow. Preston Bailey and Daniel Newman are playing Isaac and Malachai, but where are the adults?
THR helped us out there with news that Kandyse McClure of "Battlestar Galactica" and David "Heroes" Anders have joined the cast as a troubled couple attempting to rekindle their relationship with a second honeymoon. Too bad they end up in Malachai's territory. OUTLANDER!!!
Expect a set report from us next week, and Children of the Corn will premiere on the Sci-Fi Channel in 2009!

Remakes aren't just happening on the big screen, people. They're happening on the little screen too. The Sci Fi Channel recently added former British Samurai David Anders, Battlestar Galactica cutie Kandyse McClure, Preston Bailey and Daniel Newman to the cast of their CHILDREN OF THE CORN remake. In the film, McClure and Anders star as a couple who decide to go on a driving trip as sort of a second honeymoon and somehow end up in a rural community with some freaky ass children. Bailey will...

Sci Fi Channel is fleshing out the cast of its "Children of the Corn" remake, with David Anders, Kandyse McClure, Preston Bailey and Daniel Newman coming aboard the two-hour telefilm.
The movie, based on the Stephen King novel, features Anders (NBC's "Heroes") and McClure (Sci Fi's "Battlestar Galactica") as Burt and Vicky, a couple with marital problems whose attempt at a second-honeymoon driving trip ends up taking them into a seemingly deserted rural community that conceals a grim secret among its rows of tall corn. Bailey (Showtime's "Dexter") plays boy preacher Isaac, while Newman (NBC's "Surface") plays his rebellious right-hand man Malachai.
The movie, set to air next year, is shooting in and around Davenport, Iowa. Donald P. Borchers is directing from his own script.
Anders is repped by Silver Massetti & Szatmary and Liberman/Zerman Management; Bailey is with the Savage Agency and Elements Entertainment.

Daniel Newman may be playing Malachai, but who is going to lead the army of children in the onslaught against the adults? Why ... it's little Cody!
Styd learned that Preston Bailey, a familiar face to all "Dexter" fans, has been cast as the evil preacher and ring leader Isaac in Donald Borcher's 2009 adaptation of Children of the Corn. Since I've gotten away with confessing my relative apathy towards highly regarded horror classics The Shining and Suspiria, it seems perfectly safe for me to go ahead and admit that I've not yet seen Children of the Corn. I know, I know, that one isn't exactly in the same league as those two, but it does hold a reputation in its own right.
Now that a Sci-Fi Channel remake is getting into gear, I'll likely make a greater point of getting around to it (sorry it has to come to that, but call it somewhat of a personal trend). Monika Bartyzel brought up the first round of casting news, and now from Shock Till You Drop comes word that young actor Daniel Newman has been cast in the role of Malachai on the production, which just began filming in Iowa this week.
I'm going to take a stab and guess...

Seems the upcoming Children of the Corn remake, which started rolling in Iowa this week, has found itself a Malachai in the form of Cirque du Freak actor Daniel Newman, according to Styd this morning.
The redux, which already has a slot on the Sci Fi Channel for its premiere in 2009, is being directed by Donald Borchers, one of the producers on the 1984 original, and will also feature David Anders and Kandyse McClure in starring roles.
Hopefully Borchers’ earlier promise of keeping this one scary and the tone serious will be upheld. It’s bad enough it’s premiering on the Sci Fi Channel; making sure it’s a good film and a faithful adaptation of the Stephen King short story that inspired it is necessary.

We learned this evening that the new Malechai has finally been cast in the remake of Children Of The Corn, which is being directed by original producer Donald P. Borchers from his own screenplay. After its premiere on Sci Fi the film will be released on DVD by Starz and Anchor Bay Entertainment.
