Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, members of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think to be an uncharted paradise. While there, they meet David (Michael Fassbender) the synthetic survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. The mysterious world soon turns dark and dangerous when a hostile alien life form forces the crew into a deadly fight for survival.
Michael Fassbender returns in Alien: Covenant as David and has also acquired a new role as Walter, another android. New to the franchise is Billy Crudup, the film's antagonist. We spoke to both of them about their roles, their conflicts and how its is to play two characters in the film.
Michael, you’re playing two distinct characters in this film. Is it almost like doing two movies at once?
Michael Fassbender: Not really. Just different costumes. [Laughs.] It’s pretty...

It all comes down to this—the thrilling final season of one of television’s hottest shows, where everything is finally revealed. Separated from his friends and family, and on the verge of losing it all, Michael Westen goes deep undercover, joining forces with a mysterious woman and infiltrating a sinister terrorist network. With time running out, Michael must do whatever it takes to stay alive and protect his loved ones; but now, he may be forced to go too far…
And so goes the official log line for the seventh and final season of what was, at one time, one of my favourite TV shows. Those days have long gone sadly – namely around the time Michael Westen drove into the back of a arctic lorry (if I’m remembering things correctly) and then began working alongside...

Ant and Dec have admitted that they are loving the new Britain’s Got Talent panel for 2011.
The TV presenters have been touring the UK with regular panel members Amanda Holden and two newbies Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff, since both Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan stepped down from the show. They have already filmed all of the initial auditions and speaking about the new chemistry and vibe, the Push The Button pair told The People that the new panel bring a great ‘spark’ to the ITV show.
Declan Donnelly said:
“The new panel is great. They have that spark Bgt had in the first year. That has been lost over different series.
“This year it has been so much fun. Simon just put all the dogs straight through. But Michael, Amanda and David have been giving everyone a real chance and debating each one for ages. It is a...

Half of 'Christening' could have been very strong - but ended so poorly that it ruined the first half for me. The Michael storyline started off as all 'Michael is out of the Office' stories do, with the audience pre-cringing at the idea of Michael ruining whatever event he's attending. Instead, Michael became infatuated with the nice way everyone treats each other at this church, and told the others off for mocking these nice people(*). I liked the idea of Michael getting his family vibe from a group of happy Christians. Instead of what could have been an interesting learning experience for Michael, Andy got on the bus with him(**), and as soon as Andy got on the bus, I knew this was going to turn into a farce where they both got cold feet and had to get off. The good thing about shows like 'The Office',...

'Sex Ed' was an episode that had so, so much potential, but ended up disappointing on just about every level.
To begin with, it was written and directed by Paul Lieberstein (Toby) who has written/directed some of the best episodes. So when his name appeared on the screen, I was hoping for another 'Goodbye Toby' or 'Stress Relief'. Instead, what we got was the most disappointing episode since 'Mafia'.
I can't help but feel like the writers are setting us up for Andy to take the reigns of the office when Michael leaves at the end of the season. Here was a story we've seen Michael do variations of a million times, all executed better by Steve Carell. It's not necessarily a dig at Ed Helms - he's just no Carell, who just about always manages to pull off those humiliating meetings. It just felt limp - we knew where the story was going,...

[Note: I wrote up notes on this panel before I actually saw the film. Check out my thoughts on the movie here.]
Perhaps the film I'm most excited about at this convention is Edgar Wright's Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. A friend of mine loaned me all of Bryan Lee O'Malley's graphic novels, and I instantly fell in love with them. The sixth and final entry in the series came out this week, and I bought it so I could read it while waiting in line here at Comic-Con. I should have known it would only take me an hour to read “Scott Pilgrim's Finest Hour,” and to avoid any spoilers I'll just say that I definitely was not disappointed.
When the first trailer came out for the film adaptation, I watched it on repeat six times in a row. That's the first time I've ever done that for any trailer – ever – so this film has piqued my interest to its absolute zenith. The casting looks pitch perfect, the writing...

(S04E03) This new season of 'Burn Notice' has been a lot of fun so far, especially the addition of Jesse to the team. The new dynamic has created a tension that hasn't been there before. Also, there's a lot of Michael in Jesse, and that point was very evident in this episode.
Even more evident is that Michael may be too close to the situation to realize just how volatile things might get once Jesse learns the truth. Fortunately, at least one person who cares about Michael is aware of what's going on. But will Michael do something about it before the spit hits the fan? Hmm ... I guess we'll have to wait and see.
More on that and how to spice up the hummus: read on.

Things are definitely cooking now. There are only a handful of episodes left now before "Lost" calls it quits, and the fact that this week's "Everybody Loves Hugo" (a twist on the second season's "Everybody Hates Hugo") was a strong episode that aired after an even stronger one makes me optimistic that things will be amped-up and on their game through the end. Then again, it says a lot about a show when I get excited over two consecutive non-crappy episodes, so I don't want to get my hopes too high. Then again, this season's actually been good overall except for the Jin/Sun ep a couple weeks back, so maybe I shouldn't let that weak spot spoil everything. A lot of good stuff happened this week, so let's get to it.

Cote de Pablo hails from the nation of Chile, whereas her character on NCIS, Ziva David, is of Israeli descent. Only one of them is a trained killer with ice in her veins.
Still there are parallels between the two, as TV Guide learned, not the least of which being their sober professionalism in the face of certain people's goofiness.
Yup, we're talking about both Michael Weatherly and Tony Dinozzo. Below are excerpts from the magazine's recent Q&A with the super-serious special agent.
Q: So Ziva gets to be “probie” for a while now?
Cote: Wellll, as probie as Ziva can be. She gets teased specifically by Dinozzo, who just finds it the funniest thing in the world. But it bothers her tremendously.
Q: You were the last major piece of the NCIS puzzle, at least for the core group. You’ve been here four years now. How long...

Two of Michael Jackson's brothers, Marlon and Jackie, had nothing but shining compliments for "Michael Jackson's This Is It," after the film's sparkling Los Angeles premiere. But, they said, the documentary was also a reminder that they had lost their beloved brother.
"It was fantastic. It was amazing. It's a bittersweet moment for us, 'cause you know [we experienced] the passing of our brother," Jackie said. "But at the same token, I wanted to see Michael do his thing. It was electrifying."
Jackie went on to say that judging by the response in the Nokia Theatre, where the premiere was held,...
