Tim Cheung is a “typical” Hong Kong teenager, who lives with his half-crazy grandmother since his parents died, and spends most of his time on his smart phone. However, after an accident involving him being beaten by a vampire, he realizes that he is immune to their bite. Furthermore, he learns that his parents were vampire hunters, working for an underground organization called Vampire Cleanup Department, who pose as garbage men but actually are experts in battling vampires. Because, obviously, Hong Kong is soaring with them.

Another tribute to the Hong Kong vampire movies of the 80s, this version is more like ‘Ghostbusters’ in which a team of street cleaners goes against not only a young female vampire, but also a very powerful elderly one.
A young orphan student Tim Cheung gets recruited into Hong Kong’s special brunch of the cleaning department in which the cleaners don’t clean the streets but go after vampires instead. As it turns out, Tim’s parents used to work in the same department as vampire hunters. Tim’s mother was bitten by a vampire and consequently resulted in Tim being immune to vampire infection.
One night, under a new blood moon, two vampires were resurrected, one in the form of a young female and the other, her more powerful landlord. Tim is supposed to kill her, but falls in love with her instead, names her Summer,...

HONG KONG -- DreamWorks veteran Tim Cheung is joining the Hong Kong company that animated "TMNT", Imagi International Holdings Ltd., as vp animation, the company said Wednesday.
At Imagi, Cheung will manage a team of more than 400 animators and oversee the animation for all of its upcoming CGI features, including "Astroboy" and "Gatchaman", the latter to be directed by "TMNT"'s Kevin Munroe. Both are set for release in 2009.
"Many industry insiders consider Tim Cheung to be one of the most accomplished animators in the world," said Francis Kao, deputy chairman, co-CEO and chief creative officer of Imagi.
At DreamWorks, Cheung worked on the "Shrek" trilogy as directing animator, supervising animator and head of character animation. He also was a senior animator on "Antz".
"(Imagi) is broadening the demographic appeal of animation by bringing in action-hero themes and spectacular high-energy effects sequences," Cheung said.
Imagi is listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange.
