A recent interview with "Counter-Strike" creator Minh Le may contains a couple of surprises if you weren't already aware that the 11-year-old game is still one of the most popular titles in South Korea. He also revealed that his new follow-up title is near completion. "Tactical Intervention," his upcoming non-Valve PC project, looks like it will resemble "Counter-Strike," but Minh outlined a few key differences.
"I enjoyed 'Counter-Strike,' but I wanted to have my own game," Minh told IGN. "I was never able to put in all the cool features I wanted because the people who played 'Counter-Strike' would [complain] about all the changes. They liked the game as it is."
Along with the addition of hostages and a playing field where snipers don't completely unbalance gameplay, Minh emphasized that he wants "Tactical Intervention" to move at a much quicker pace.
