- Khris stays busy, in fact he stays busier than most people think. In 2005, Khris was strongly considered for a principal role as one of Neptune's security guards in the movie Miami Vice (2006) . Over the course of the following 2-year period Khris was offered the following interesting jobs. Khris was asked to play a hardcore gang member during the filming of The Killing Gene (2007) pick-up shots, a background player (and possibly a principal) in Reno 911!: Miami (2007) , a homeless man in Sydney White (2007) , a featured thug in The Fiesta Grand (2007) , a lead S.W.A.T. officer in Contract Killers (2008) , and numerous athletes/soldiers/fighters in various commercial pieces on both the east and west coasts. During this time period, Khris also met with Academy Award nominee Djimon Hounsou and was offered the job as Djimon's stand-in for the film Never Back Down (2008) (this was only after a principal role, a role for which Khris was the top contender, was re-conceived and subsequently rewritten as a very obese man). Unfortunately, contract issues prevented Khris from accepting most of these jobs. (September 2007) Khris is working as one of the primary driving forces behind a new television network that is being developed. The network is named MadFace TV and it promises to be a hit in the urban market when it launches before year's end. Additionally, Khris will be starring in the network's flagship dramatic series "The Label".
- Cousin of director, actor, People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People" designee, and True Colors Theatre Company founder / artistic director Kenny Leon . Also cousin to actress Danya Wilson .
- Has numerous friends, family members, and associates that are musicians. In fact, he started Gibston Productions, a concert promotions company after graduating from college. The first concert that he independently produced featured Bad Boy Records' (owned by Sean 'Diddy' Combs ) first artist Craig Mack .
- A consistent Dean's List student, Khris graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Mathematics. Until his senior year of college he also intended to attain a Doctorate of Medicine, but decided to discontinue that pursuit in order to "get on with life" even though he had already successfully completed most of the necessary science curriculum.
- Grew up with, and played football with, his good friend, and Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle, William Tra Thomas . Khris actually has several friends, family members, and associates that are sports celebrities. In fact, NFL record-setter Emmitt Smith is his fraternity brother, as is college athlete-turned-actor Dock Pollard .
- From the same town as Atlanta Braves infielder/slugger Chipper Jones and film director Victor Nunez . At the time of this update Khris is based in the hometown of legendary rocker Tom Petty and the actresses and twins Brittany Daniel and Cynthia Daniel . At one point Khris even worked for the twins' father's (C.B. Daniel) banking division for several years and while doing so received multiple accolades and awards from him for his banking accomplishments. On a few occasions Khris even met the twins before they permanently relocated to pursue their acting.
- Has had one-on-one meetings with numerous sports greats, including the likes of Bill Arnsparger and Steve Spurrier . In fact, during one such meeting coach Spurrier personally made phone calls in order to get Khris playing football on the University of Florida Gator football team. However, an unfortunate accident, misdiagnosis, and resultant arm injury that would later require multiple surgeries and years of rehab in order to repair, prevented Khris from playing. Nonetheless, Khris can still claim that he is the proud owner of an SEC Championship ring.
- Is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and pledged at UF's Zeta Kappa Chapter. As one of the chapter's leaders, it was actually his work as the chapter's spokesman, and the subsequent TV interview experiences that would later lead Khris into the world of acting. This is also the period in which Khris "cut his teeth" in radio commercial production, when he began producing radio commercials for the chapter's renown "Blue & White Weekend", an event which Khris helmed for years. On a side note, brothers from Zeta Kappa Chapter created the chant that made "Get Low", by rapper Lil Jon , a crossover hit. The chant "From the windows to the walls..." was created by a couple Zeta Kappa brothers as a social chant to be exclaimed at all types of parties and other social events in order to "liven up the party". After catching-on and spreading through the Phi Beta Sigma ranks like wildfire, the chant has been being made famous by Phi Beta Sigma brothers worldwide for years--dating back approximately two decades before Lil Jon made "Get Low".
- While visiting his hometown during the Christmas holiday and taking a walk around the his old neighborhood, Khris was attacked by two loose large Rottweiler guard dogs. Khris was walking alone and unarmed when the attack occurred, but escaped unscathed after punching the lead dog and then aggressively charging towards the dogs, forcing them both to retreat. Afterwards, the dogs' owner was notified of the incident and the dogs were confined by their owner. (December 2007)
- Grew up with, and played football with, friends Darren Darby and Andre Darby, brothers of Grammy winner and platinum selling recording artist Terence Trent D'Arby.
- Subsequent to being considered for one role in "Never Back Down" and being offered the chance to be Djimon Hounsou's stand-in, Khris was strongly considered for a second role in the film. Around the same time, Khris was also asked to play one of the main Harlem thugs in Falling Awake (2009) .
- Less than three months after completing work on the script for the horror flick Something in the Night (2011) , Khris began to write the screenplay for the film "X-Rated: The Side-Splitting Sex Comedy". Shortly after the comedic screenplay's completion, Hollywood began showing interest in the project.
- Nicknamed "One Take Khris" by director Nick Borges .
