Spoiler Alert: This story contains spoilers from “The Weight of Deceit,” the tenth episode of “The Traitors” Season 2, now streaming on Peacock.
The tenth episode of “The Traitors” revealed that while the group was inching closer to identifying Phaedra Parks as a traitor — the last original one — they decided to turn against Peter Weber and banish him instead. Luckily for them, they did not make the same mistake again and sent her home at the end of the episode.
However, when Weber, possibly the best strategic player of the season, was banished, it’s hard to believe that he wouldn’t be screaming with both frustration and joy when learning that Parks has been a traitor all along. But he wasn’t told right away. In fact, he didn’t find out for quite some time, executive producer Mike Cotton tells Variety.

Greg James To Host Channel 4 Reality Series ‘Rise And Fall’ From ‘The Traitors’ Maker Studio Lambert
BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James is to host Channel 4 reality series Rise and Fall from The Traitors maker Studio Lambert.
James hosts BBC Radio 1 Breakfast, one of the most-listened-to UK radio shows, and Rise and Fall represents one of his few TV hosting gigs.
He will oversee the action on Channel 4’s latest big entertainment bet, in which 16 ordinary British people from all walks of life begin the game as equals but soon find themselves either in a position of power as a Ruler or as part of the powerless as a Grafter. While the Rulers live in an opulent penthouse, the Grafters must survive in basic conditions in the basement. And much like life, those in power will be responsible for making decisions that affect those who have none.

Smash hit gameshow The Traitors has been renewed for a second season by the BBC.
In one of the least surprising bits of commissioning news of the year so far, the pubcaster has opted to greenlight a 12-part series two of the Claudia Winkleman-hosted game show in which a group of “faithfuls” try and smoke out three “traitors” while living in a castle. The group compete in challenges and each night one is “banished” from the castle and another is “murdered” by the traitors. The word-of-mouth hit was all the British TV industry could talk about over Christmas, coming in for praise for its high-octane drama, diversity and range of authentic contestants.
The show attracted more than 3 million viewers per episode overnight for the BBC when it aired around Christmas time and was the biggest new series for young people of the year, according to the BBC. Produced by Studio Lambert in the UK,...

The Na'vi of "Avatar" probably don't need to watch their tails too closely; it's not likely that "Marvel's The Avengers" will topple its record as the highest grossing movie of all time. The same can't be said for the Boy Who Lived, however, as "Avengers" is well on track to dethrone "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" for third place.
As of today, "Avengers" is the sixth biggest film of all time, surpassing the record previously held by fellow Disney picture "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," reports THR. With not quite three weeks of domestic release under its belt and another weekend victory about to hit the books — sorry, "Battleship" — the film's current $1.07 billion worldwide tally is only going to grow in the coming weeks.
As a reward for all of the "Avengers" awesomeness, check out an equally marvelous (ha!) interpretation of Earth's mightiest heroes as Pixar characters past the jump.

A terse SEC filing on Friday has led to headlines all over comics: Gareb Shamus has resigned as CEO, President and Director of Wizard World, Inc., the convention-running entity of the Wizard empire. Seeing as how Shamus is the owner and founder of the company it came as a shock. But what does it really mean? Has Shamus really been ousted from his own company — or is it just a filing to reflect some internal resource shuffling?
The latest iteration of the shrinking of the Wizard brand began about a year ago when Shamus announced that the magazine would return as a downloadable Pdf. As we noted at the time, Shamus seemed almost eerily focused on this new outing, promising an audience of millions and the ability to break new comics. “We can make things cool,” he told us at the time, a perhaps distant echo of Wizard’s one...
