Beth Belew is a development and network executive with a career spanning what feels to her like 200 years in the business of show. Beth began her career by doing hard time in the field as a producer on unscripted and scripted series for Comedy Central, ABC, TBS, MTV, VH1, Tru, TLC, SyFy, TV Land, IFC and Fuse.
After transitioning into development, she spent time as a buyer at TBS/TNT, where she worked on Emmy winning late night series CONAN and Full Frontal with Samantha Bee and on the Mark Burnett produced cooking competition series On the Menu with Emeril Lagasse and the AFI Life Achievement: John Williams special. She also spent time at E! where she oversaw the late night talk show Busy Tonight from Executive Producer Tina Fey.
In her time on the sales side, she did stints as an executive at ITV, NBC's Alternative Studio, Discovery Studios, Rive Gauche Television, and as the Head of Development for Wanda Sykes' production company Push It Productions where she developed and sold the successful Wanda Sykes/Mike Epps fronted multi-camera sitcom The Upshaws to Netflix.
Since joining the Funny or Die Longform Development and Current Programming team as SVP, Beth sold and Executive Produced History of Swear Words starring Nicolas Cage for Netflix, Co-Executive Produced The Last Degree of Kevin Bacon scripted podcast for Spotify, developed and Executive Produced two seasons of Roku's first original series Roku Recommends and developed/Co-EP'd Pickled for CBS with Executive Producer Stephen Colbert, along with multiple scripted and unscripted projects that are in development.
