There are times in history that genius occurs when combining two items, for example: Freedom and America, Peanut Butter and Jelly, and Girls and Corpses. What’s that you ask, Girls and Corpses? Exactly, Girls and Corpses. Girls and Corpses is the hit magazine by creator and Deaditor in Chief Robert Steven Rhine. Recently, the Summer 2010 issue marks over seven years that Mr. Rhine has shocked and excited his readers. The newest issue does just that. New information has arrived for Jason Robert Stephen's Necrosis courtesy of the distributor Brink DVD. The film, which releases April 20th, will be offered in an unrated version. To horror enthusiasts, that means fewer cuts and less editing of the final product which creates a more complete version of the film. This also means that Stephen's and writer Robert Michael Ryan's original vision will be seen in this version. Already reviewed here (Necrosis Review), the film stars James Kyson Lee (Heroes), Tiffany (1980’s Pop Star), George Stults (7th Heaven), Penny Drake (Zombie Strippers), Danielle De Luca (Naked Fear), and horror legend Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes). Have a first look or revisit the trailer for Necrosis inside, until the film drops April 20th.

Fans of Ewan McGregor, Kristen Stewart and James Van Der Beek (!) will be seeing double this spring, as arthouses and multiplexes host an array of indie films ranging from the travails of septuagenarian New Yorkers looking for love ("The Last New Yorker") to 13-year-old assassins on the hunt for their first kill ("Kick-Ass"). If real life is more your speed, there are new documentaries about reviving animation strips (the Disney doc "Waking Sleeping Beauty") and stripping down (the burlesque history "Behind the Burly Q"), while foreign wonders like the French crime epics "A Prophet" and "Mesrine" mix with Korean treasures "Mother" and "The Good, The Bad and The Weird."

Director: Jason Robert Stephens.
Writer: Robert Michael Ryan, and Jason Robert Stephens.
Necrosis is a Brink DVD release that stars James Kyson Lee (Heroes), George Stults (7th Heaven), Tiffany, Penny Drake, and Danielle De Luca (Naked Fear). Already close to an April 20th, 2010 DVD and cable release Necrosis utilizes pacing effectively in this indie thriller. Action abounds in the film, which only mildly stumbles in the sound department.
The film attaches itself the the legend of the Donner party who were a group of 1800s travellers that were westward bound. Unfortunately, the Donner party became trapped in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and fed upon each other in a bloody orgy of cannibalism. Many of the characters in Necrosis do not fare much better as character Jerry becomes possessed by either the ghosts of the Donner party or by his paranoid schizophrenia. Either way few come out of this picture alive!

Wait a second, wait a second; first she gets naked, now she’s in a horror movie? Is it possible that 80’s pop icon Tiffany is actually … cool? I guess in this crazy mixed-up world almost anything is possible, no matter how far-fetched it may seem.
The film is called Necrosis, and it also stars James Kyson Lee of “Heroes”, George Stults of “7th Heaven” (don’t pretend like you didn’t watch it), Penny Drake from Zombie Strippers and features the one and only Michael Berryman in a cameo. A pretty bizarre lineup if you ask me, but then the film doesn’t sound exactly normal either.
