Rest in peace, Malcolm Young.
The AC/DC co-founder and guitarist has died, the band announced on their Facebook page on Saturday. He was 64.
"Today it is with deep heartfelt sadness that AC/DC has to announce the passing of Malcolm Young," the post began. "Malcolm, along with Angus, was the founder and creator of AC/DC. With enormous dedication and commitment he was the driving force behind the band. As a guitarist, songwriter and visionary he was a perfectionist and a unique man. He always stuck to his guns and did and said exactly what he wanted. He took great pride in all that he endeavored. His loyalty to the fans was unsurpassed."
"As his brother it is hard to express in words what he has meant to me during my life, the bond we had was unique and very special," Angus said in the statement. "He leaves behind an enormous legacy that will live on forever...

Following up on last week’s all-too-brief teaser, Ubisoft has premiered the full trailer for Operation Dust Line, the second mainline expansion releasing for tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege.
Much like Operation Black Ice before it, Siege‘s sophomore content pack brings with it two new operators for players to experiment with. Hailing from the Navy Seals, Operation Dust Line introduces fans to Valkyrie, a defender who “will have access to deployable sticky cameras.” As for Blackbeard, he’ll stand as the brute attacker who comes bearing a rifle and shield.
Revolving around a bid to “secure the border,” a rundown of the new content headed to Rainbow Six Siege later this week can be found below.
Siege on with Valkyrie’s deployment sticky camera and Blackbeard’s armored rifle shield. The new free Border map is available instantly with the Operation Dust Line update, along with new weapon skins,...

During the Rainbow Six Pro League live stream, Ubisoft revealed some details about the upcoming Dlc.
The new Dlc includes a new map and two new characters. We got some slight details about both.
First the new map is heading into the Mideast with Navy Seals at the lead. The map is stated to be dusty, filled with browns, and have a new dynamic that other maps don't have. The map is titled Operation Dust Line.
The two characters include Valkyrie and Blackbeard pictured above.
Valkyrie carries a Spaz-12 Shotgun and has sticky cameras that can be attached to pretty much anything. The cameras can be stuck inside and outside of the buildings, and the entire team can utilize them when needed.
Blackbeard has a shield that can attach to his gun which makes him a front line type character. He also carries a Desert Eagle.

Under The Dome is back with a ponderous double-length season 3 opener, which is already squandering its sci-fi potential...
This review contains spoilers.
3.1 Move On & 3.2 But I’m Not
Credit where it’s due. There were decent sci-fi ideas in Under The Dome’s season three opener: the cocoons, the alternate world, the strangle-happy alien disguised as a mild-mannered dead teen. Granted, they weren’t original sci-fi ideas, but they had potential. More potential at least than the tedious romances and ‘I love you/I’ve shot you!’ familial conflicts that pass for emotional drama round these parts.
But like a toddler first learning how to tell a joke, this show just can’t stop fluffing its punchlines. Under The Dome squandered every bit of promise the fake world concept had in record-breaking time, by a line uttered in the episode’s opening minutes. “We hope it takes us home,” said...

Rudd was also charged with threatening to kill and for possession of illegal drugs.
Musician Phil Rudd, drummer for the Australian rock band AC/DC, has reportedly been charged with attempting to procure a murder, threats to kill and possession of drugs, including marijuana and methamphetamine.
According to The New Zealand Herald, the 60-year-old rock star was allegedly involved in a murder-for-hire plot in which he attempted to arrange the killing of two unidentified men. Rudd was arrested on Thursday, November 6, after police reportedly raided his home in Tauranga, on the North Island of New Zealand.

He appeared hours later in the Tauranga District Court where he entered no plea to the charges and did not ask to have his name suppressed, which is an option for citizens facing criminal charges in New Zealand. Rudd made bail and will be returning to court on November 27.

Hey Deadheads, it’s Ryne from The Moon is a Dead World. This week we add Resurrection‘s second season to our list of things to cover, as well as the usual stuff: Kevin with Under the Dome and The Strain, Shawn has Gotham and Z Nation, and I’ve got the rest.
The Lottery: “In Extremis” - Sunday, September 28 at 9 Pm
So I made it to The Lottery‘s season finale. For a little while I thought I was going to pull a Shawn and drop out, but I managed to stick with it to the end. I don’t want to say I hate The Lottery like I do Bitten, because that’s not really the case; but I do think that the show has a lot of really stupid subplots and obvious “twists,” and enjoyment of the show’s plot has dropped significantly from the first episode.

2.12 Turn
This week, the people of Chester’s Mill were facing a problem that can’t be solved by a Surface Tablet, Julia’s Prius, or Rebecca Pine and her can of magic lima beans: the threat of cancellation. In a last-ditch attempt to bring viewers flocking back to their TV screens like so many magnetised Monarch butterflies, Turn threw everything it had into the mix, and the result was an episode so unimprovably stupid, you just couldn’t look away.
To wit, the dialogue from this week’s pre-credits scene:
Joe: It’s contracting!
Norrie: You mean it’s shrinking?
Joe: It keeps starting and stopping!
Rebecca: At least the dome stopped spinning and inverting the atmosphere and that’s why the temperature’s warmed up.

2.11 Black Ice
Aka the one where an episode-long environmental threat almost kills everyone, then doesn’t. If Under The Dome were to get any more predictable… nope, there’s no way to finish that sentence; this show achieved peak predictability yonks ago.
Despite months of conditioning, a tiny part of me still dared to hope for a glimmer of surprise in Black Ice. Perhaps people really would start dying. Perhaps Lyle’s much-discussed apocalypse would arrive. Perhaps season two’s remaining episodes would be spent watching the whole damn lot of them go up in a thousand-foot high wall of flames. There’s always hope, I told myself.

AC/DC might be heading down that "Highway to Hell" again to perform some "Dirty Deeds" that will shake you "All Night Long" and leave you "Thunderstruck." While the hard rock legends have been relatively quiet since 2008, due to guitarist Angus Young's health problems, singer Brian Johnson says AC/DC is potentially touring in 2014. In a post on his site about the "Cars That Rock," the upcoming U.K. TV series he's hosting, Johnson casually mentions, "it looks very likely that we will be on the road again before the end of the year. So stand by for more music." Of course, nothing is set in stone, but be on the lookout for more updates. AC/DC's most recent album was 2008's "Black Ice. The live collection "Live at River Plate" followed in 2012. ...

For those about to rock, it’s been a tough few days and today AC/DC confirmed fans’ worst fears, while holding out some hope. Over the last three days, the internet has run rife with speculation that AC/DC's rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young, who co-founded the band with brother Angus in 1973, had suffered a stroke and blood clot bringing the career to one of rock and roll’s most successful, long-lived acts to a halt. Sources reported that the band would “never make music again” and retire. Additionally, a 40-city tour to celebrate the band’s 40th anniversary, hinted at by vocalist Brian Johnson, would also be taken off the schedule. With little fanfare and even less detail, the band posted the following statement on its website today: “After forty years of life dedicated to AC/DC, guitarist and founding member Malcolm Young is taking a break from the band due to ill health.

BERLIN -- Black Ice can be a treacherous hazard to drivers in cold climes where a slippery patch disguises itself as a dry roadway. Fittingly, Petri Kotwica's Black Ice follows suit: The film has its characters slipping and sliding all over an icy psychological landscape in a twisted thriller about marital infidelity, manipulation and betrayal. The Finnish writer-director himself skates across thin ice in a not always convincing third act. Nevertheless, it's an exciting ride that displays ferocious talent on both sides of the camera as a taut tale of near-claustrophobic intimacy gets the Cinemascope treatment.
Black Ice could break out of the Art House ghetto to wider audiences if properly marketed in Europe. It will have to battle lack of name recognition in North America but could find welcoming audiences in specialty venues.
Kotwica keeps a tight focus on three characters that form a most unusual romantic triangle.
The pivotal one is philandering Helsinki architect and professor Leo (Martti Suoalo). When his lovely gynecologist wife Saara (Outi Maenpaa) gets wind of his extramarital pursuits, she creates a fake identity to get acquainted with her husband's mistress, a young graphic arts student named Tuuli (Ria Kataja). Saara even, somewhat unwittingly, joins the martial arts class Tuuli teaches.
The two become very friendly in short order. As Saara has moved out of the house she shares with Leo, her new identity permits her the freedom to reimagine her life, even bedding down with a much younger German student after one of Tuuli's impromptu parties.
Saara actually grows to like her rival, but she still has a jealous streak and means to rid her life of Tuuli one way or another. Before long, Leo's sister and brother-in-law get pulled almost comically into Saara's improvised revenge plot.
Masks at a midwinter revelry play a role in this game of disguise and vengeance and Maenpaa is the perfect actress for this. She has a wise, even placid, face but every now and then flashes of pain and anger play across it with startling ferocity. Kataja's mistress is less a Femme Fatale than a contradiction of feminine strength (the martial arts) and gullible innocence (her taking both husband and wife at face value). Suosalo's Leo is a man of insatiable desires, a perpetual pursuer of young flesh, oblivious to the damage he causes. And the jeopardy he puts himself in.
Kotwica shoots in widescreen in Helsinki and its wooded suburbs, a place where the frozen wilds seem to encroach on the city. The characters move with deceptive freedom within the wide frame but are trapped by their own foolishness. As events move fatefully to a somewhat overwrought climax, the city's wildness reclaims them from their bourgeois complacency as primal instincts take over.

As events move fatefully to a somewhat overwrought climax, the city's wildness reclaims them from their bourgeois complacency as primal instincts take over.
