New Year's Eve: It's either a time to celebrate renewal and the hope that comes with a new year, or a time to gripe about "Amateur Hour" as you dodge puddles of alcohol-induced puke on the sidewalk. We're guessing the upcoming ensemble rom-com "New Year's Eve" from director Gary Marshall ("Valentine's Day") is going to be taking the former route rather than the latter, so it stands to reason that the soundtrack would be stocked full of uplifting party anthems that would fit right in on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. And so it is.
