Born in Miami, Florida. Anthony attended Florida International
University and then went to New York to pursue an acting career. He
began at The Westport Country Playhouse in Connecticut. A historical
theater which was run by Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. His first
professional stage production was The Constant Wife directed by Joanne
Woodward. Since then Anthony has performed in Theatre, TV and Film
work.
Met Mickey Rourke at his club Mickey's in Miami Beach, who suggested he study with Geoffrey Horne at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York City.
As a young boy he watched the film Raging Bull by Martin Scorsese, which
inspired him to become an actor.
His father worked next to a movie theater, where Anthony as a young boy
would sneak in to see as many movies as he can watch in one day.
In 2006 "Welcome Back to the Barrio" premiered at the HBO New York International Latino Film Festival in New York City.
In 2007 "Welcome Back to the Barrio" won the Audience Award at the 23rd Annual Chicago Latino Film Festival.
