Last night, Anna Kendrick came onto The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson to, once again, talk about her work in Up In The Air. Below, you can watch her appearance on video. Also, Kendrick did an interview with the Wall Street Journal, where she followed up on her story about the hilarious back-and-forth between her two co-stars George Clooney and Robert Pattinson, saying "I think Robert was just relieved that George thought it was funny. He was hesitant to do it because he was afraid that he’ll come off as a jerk. It was my idea to have Robert send George his GQ cover." Finally, Kendrick was recently announced as a presenter for this year's SAG A ....

After a seven-year hiatus from acting, internationally acclaimed filmmaker Mel Gibson returns to star in the suspenseful new thriller, “Edge of Darkness,” directed by Martin Campbell. MoviesOnline sat down with the award-winning actor, director, writer and producer this past weekend to talk about what it was like to return to work again in front of the camera.
“Edge of Darkness” is an emotionally charged film set at the intersection of politics and big business. Thomas Craven (Gibson) is a veteran homicide detective for the Boston Police Department and a single father. When his only child, 24-year-old Emma (Bojana Novakovic), is murdered on the steps of his home, everyone assumes that he was the target. But he soon suspects otherwise, and embarks on a mission to find out about his daughter’s secret life and her killing. The Lovely Bones
Directed by: Peter Jackson
Cast: Saoirse Ronan, Mark Wahlberg, Racehl Weisz, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Stucci
Running Time: 2 hrs 10 mins
Rating: PG-13
Release Date: Dec. 25, 2009
Plot: In a quiet town in 1973, a young girl (Ronan) is killed and then watches over her family (and her killer) in the afterlife. Her family must try to come to grips both with what has happened, as well as the issue of whether her killer will ever be found.
Who’S It For? This is a tough call. Clearly, fans of the novel will want to see this tale come to life. Others will want to see what Mr. Lord of the Rings has done next. It’s not your typical mystery, but I’m not saying that’s a compliment.
Expectations: None. I heard some Oscar buzz, and saw a little of the trailer, but the only thing I knew was a girl dies … and narrates.
