- He established the Rose Warner Writing Center and Rose Warner Science Lab at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota.
- He created the Lee and Rose Warner Center in 1968 wit the Science Museum of Minnesota.

- He is survived by his brother, Harry G. McNeely Jr. and 11 nieces and nephews.
- He funded the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory at Como Park in St. Paul, Minnesota.
