Everybody is cohabitating on Burden of Truth Season 3 Episode 1. Joanna and Billy have, apparently, been living together and working together for a year.
Taylor and Luna are also roommates now. And for those of us who were wondering about it last season, Diane and Owen are still together and sharing their living space.
When the series started, things were looking pretty good for Joanna and Billy. They functioned like a well-oiled machine. But as the show progressed, it became clear that that machine didn't run as smoothly as one would have hoped.
They are still Billy and Joanna, which means they still have a different idea of how law and life should work. Billy still wants to do the honest, honorable thing, and Joanna still wants to win.
She is not the same shark we met on Burden of Truth Season 1 Episode 1, despite the name mix-up at the reunion. She...

Last year, the freshman outing of the Burden of Truth TV show on The CW didn't exactly set the Nielsen ratings afire, but the series, which originates on Canada's CBC, was not cancelled. Just days before the second season debuted, The CW also renewed it for Summer 2020, so the littlest network must be getting enough bang for its buck. Now, can the series bear the burden of The CW's faith in it? Will Burden of Truth be cancelled or renewed beyond season three? Stay tuned.

Last year CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) premiered Burden of Truth, a new legal drama.
Those of us in the U.S. who were drawn in by the trailer got super bummed that this exciting new show would only be available to our friends north of the border. Then the CW picked it up for their summer lineup and it exceded expectations.
The CW Fall 2019 Schedule: Batwoman Teams with Supergirl, Charmed Banished to Fridays
Still, Burden of Truth got very little coverage here in the good old U.S. For whatever reason, nobody was talking about it, let alone watching. And some people couldn't even remember what it was called, mistakenly calling it Burden of Proof.
Now season two is about to air in the U.S., and we're hoping for some more viewers and some more discussion. Burden of Truth is an entertaining and original show that you should be watching.

Dawn French is to star in Doc Martin-style drama Glass Houses for ITV.
The British commercial broadcaster has ordered the six-part series from Genial Productions, the nascent ITV-backed producer formed by The Durrells and Men Behaving Badly writer Simon Nye and ex-Tiger Aspect boss Sophie Clarke-Jervoise.
Created and written by Shameless and Cold Feet writer Mark Brotherhood, Glass Houses is set in a picturesque small coastal town with a close-knit community. It follows the stories and fall out for Maggie Connors, played by French, who doesn’t pay attention to the cautionary adage that ‘those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones’.
Connors is a central character in town who makes it her business to know a bit about everyone’s lives. When a radio journalist interviews her for a small reportage piece about local life she gives him far more detail (and embellishment) about the locals and their...

Somehow, we made it to the halfway point of 2018.
As summer begins to really take hold, July might not be as packed with headline new shows as previous months were. But for anyone who thought that the allure of the sunny outdoors would curb the insatiable appetite for new TV shows: think again.
(We do this every month — if you missed any of those previous picks, here are some notable TV premieres from February, March, April, May, and June.)
“Mostly 4 Millennials”
It’s been a big week for Adult Swim, with the mesmerizing “Mr. Neighbor’s House 2” premiering this past Sunday night and a new Casper Kelly short in the Infomercial slot. Now, to keep that momentum going comes this unclassifiable piece of satire (?) about a hyperconnected generation with a criminally short attention span.
“Sharp Objects”
One of the summer’s most anticipated series feels like one of the seasons surest bets.
