Twitter experienced major outages in the U.S. and other parts of the world Wednesday, leading the hashtag #TwitterDown to pop up in numerous posts about the setbacks.
Media brands, journalists and Hollywood figures were among those taking shots at Elon Musk amid these issues, which included users having trouble with the log-in process, particularly on the desktop version. Musk made headlines for spearheading mass Twitter layoffs last month, not long after closing his 44 billion acquisition of the company.
When one user tweeted Wednesday, “Can anyone see this or is Twitter broken,” Musk himself weighed in with, “Works for me.”
Others were a bit more negative about the user experience that day and shared frustrations about the glitches. “Dipshit Arrogant Egomaniac Narcissist Musk fucked the pooch?” wrote Teen Mom executive producer Morgan J. Freeman.

After a failed attempt to propose to his girlfriend, Alan Jones is beaten to within an inch of his life by a street gang and taken to a mysterious lab where Dr. Tanner Finski and his kid genius assistant perform horrible experiments on him hoping to re-animate a Frankenstein. The experiments lead to a hole being ripped in space and time, manifesting an Army of Frankensteins from hundreds of parallel universes and sending them all back to the 19th century, directly into the heart of a bloody battle between the North and South. Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma presents one of the greatest musicals of all time, Les Miserables. This original production features the performances of Chuck Wagner, Danny Rothman, Victoria Huston-Elem, Tommy Cunningham, Julie Johnson, and Dallas Lish, leading a company of over 100 voices. The bold design features a new, four story set designed by Michael Raiford and over 400 costumes designed by Oklahoman Jeffrey Meek.
