Ion Television is going to break a record with the premiere of their new show, "Durham County." It might not be in the ratings, but instead the network is hoping viewers do tune in by attempting to break the Guinness World Record for Largest Moving Box. It's all part of a promotion for the entertainment network's new original series about a police detective who backs home to his hometown. Get it?
In the show, which premieres Monday, September 7th, the detective moves next door to his childhood nemesis and discovers that his town is full of secrets. The mystery drama is already a hit in Canada, where it first premiered. So the show is preparing for its big move to the Ion network as well.
