Wendy Shuey has been in the film industry since 1997. Located in Taos after serving a decade as Lead Editor in Los Angeles, she continues to cut feature films (Plastic Paradise; Bon In Dolpo; and currently finishing The Black Zone). She shoots and edits short form documentary projects, trailers, music videos and pilots in between features. Education: B.A., Film & Broadcast; Virginia Tech Univ; Concentration: 16mm Film, NYC. Experience/History in a nutshell: 1997: Howard Stern Show; 1998: Producer/Director of Live Music Channel, NYC, music series featuring: Jane's Addiction, The Flaming Lips, Bjork etc. 2000: NM, 26-part series on Discovering Buddhism; 2002 onward: Los Angeles, Lead editor for various networks & post houses such as Discovery Channel; NBC Universal; MTV; VH1; M2; CurrentTV; TLC; G4; Speed; Fuel; Oxygen; History Channel + short docs on democracy In Egypt; Tijuana police corruption; commercials, pilots, promo videos, and film trailers. Also a drummer, Wendy has recorded several records that have been licensed for various network series ...and often wails on drums between edit sessions.
