Squiggles was born to an impoverished family in the mean streets of
south Detroit, MI. Squiggles' father had been the pet of a lowly
automobile factory worker who had been laid off during the fall of the
U.S. economy and automobile industry. With no one to feed him,
Squiggles' father took side jobs as a sock rodent, pleasuring men for
small amounts of coin and cheese. Following Squiggles' birth, his
father abandoned his mother Cuddles, leaving her to raise Squiggles and
his siblings on her own. Unable to pay the bills, even Cuddles was
forced to take on side jobs as a sock rodent. Burdened by her shame,
Cuddles soon became addicted to crack and died of heart failure after
running for hours on her wheel.
Squiggles, being the eldest of five, took to the streets to raise money to feed his siblings. Squiggles soon found himself eating from gutters, surviving in the shadows, and making what little cheese he could participating in underground rodent street fights. Squiggles' last fight found him facing his brother Fuzzy. Refusing to fight, his brother lunged at him, and Squiggles was forced to kill him.
Depressed, Squiggles turned to the bottle and began frequenting dark alleys, until he awoke one day on the doorstep of a young actor. The young actor found Squiggles half dead, wreaking of whiskey and cheap women. The young actor took pity on him and took him in, giving him small appearances in short films and PETA advertisements. Squiggles has since cleaned up his act, vowing to never be a sock rodent or eat from gutters again. He now spends most of his time raising money for the ASPCA and other animal support groups.
