'I have been known to smoke it, but nothing like Sean Paul, he takes it to that next level, you know. But he has asthma now, so he can't smoke like that anymore.'...

The Bhangra-urban group Rdb - whose work features in many Bollywood films - could soon be working with David Guetta.
They met the superstar DJ and dance producer when he visited India last weekend to perform three exclusive gigs.
Rdb specialise in blending Asian and Western music and introduced Snoop Dogg to the Indian film world when they composed the title track to 2008's Singh is Kinng. In addition, Rdb worked with Ludacris on the track Shera Di Kaum which features in Speedy Singhs.
Sources say discussions have taken place over a possible collaboration with David Guetta.

Surely someone is going to come along to knock Adele off her perch. But in the meantime, the Grammy-winning singer simply cannot be beat, as her 21 will notch its 22nd non-consecutive week at #1 next week thanks to sales of nearly 297,000, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan.
And that's with sales dropping almost 60 percent from her post-Grammy high. More than a year into her incredible run, Adele has sold almost 7.7 million copies of her second album in the U.S. Also holding strong was the Whitney Houston greatest-hits collection, which lost just 1 percent of its sales from the previous week, staying in the #2 position on sales of 174,000 in the second full chart week since the singer's death. It was joined in the top 10 by the soundtrack to "The Bodyguard," (#6, 47,000, up 176 percent) and her...

Hot on the heels of a tour with newly solo Joe Jonas and his new mixtape – and with his second U.S. album, Freeze Time, due later this fall – Jay Sean is having a very big year. But being ultra busy didn't stop the British R&B singer/songwriter from having a little fun when he stopped by the MTV Newsroom recently.
We decided to play Two Truths & A Lie with Sean, and he was by far the most game star yet to enter into our little campfire "getting to know you" exercise.
Did he meet Sean Paul on the red carpet at a Vma event and it led to their collaboration on "Do You Remember"? Is Jay Sean his real name? And before he was a pop star did he really used to dissect bodies?
Two of these things are fact, one is fiction.

Harry Belafonte had strong personal ties to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., but he admits to mixed feelings about the new memorial to the civil-rights icon.
The Emmy-, Grammy- and Tony-winning subject of the documentary "Sing Your Song" -- which has been shown at such film festivals as Sundance and Tribeca, and makes its HBO debut Monday, Oct. 17 -- legendary entertainer and activist Belafonte tells Zap2it he's "ambivalent" about the Washington, D.C., site that honors King.

"The other side of it," Belafonte adds, "is that a lot of people soiled the mission.

Beyoncé is not only up for three Moonmen at the 2011 Video Music Awards, she's also slated to storm the Vma stage live on Sunday night. But she's certainly no stranger to the big show.
The Queen B was still with her Destiny's Child girls — Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams — when she shared a win for Best R&B Video back in 2000. The group would go on to rack up 10 nominations and two statues over the course of their career.
By 2003, though, Beyoncé had gone solo, quickly proving she was a force to be reckoned with. And it was her performance at that year's awards ceremony that helped launch one of the most impressive Vma careers in the show's illustrious history.

Supa Dups already has quite an extensive résumé, and now he can add "Producing for Eminem" to it. The Miami-based reggae producer has already racked up tracks for Sean Paul, Buju Banton, Estelle, Akon and Bruno Mars. More recently, Dups and his Black Chiney production partner Jason "Jg" Gilbert stepped into rap's arena, crafting the beat for Eminem and Royce Da 5'9"'s "Fast Lane," the first leak off of the duo's upcoming Bad Meets Evil album.

This morning, Rihanna added another A-list collaboration to her lengthy résumé list. After RiRi and Britney Spears announced via Twitter this weekend that they did a remix of the Loud single, "S&M," the song hit the radio and Net. And, inevitably, we began recalling Rihanna's other partners in crime.
But, Brit is hardly the first superstar that RiRi has hooked up with. In fact, she has a pretty extensive list of features and collaborations. In the last 12 months, she's skyrocketed to the top of the charts with her Eminem collabo, "Love the Way You Lie," which appeared on the rapper's hit album Recovery. He returned the favor dropping a verse on her answer to the track on "Part 2" which appeared on Loud. Her one-time rumored beau, Drake, also made an appearance on the album, getting very, very sexy on the single "What's My Name?," which also hit #1 on Billboard.

After first hopping on Jay Sean's U.S. debut single, "Down," in '09, it appears Lil Wayne has co-signed Sean's forthcoming second U.S. album, Freeze Time, due in the spring. Wayne is featured on the project's second single, "Hit the Lights," following "2012 (It Ain't the End)" featuring Nicki Minaj, which Sean released last year.
The song, which leaked this weekend and will go on sale digitally February 8, is a progressive house banger made for the dance floor that could rival Britney Spears' recent electro-house jam, "Hold It Against Me," in the clubs.
"Lights" was produced by the Orange Factory, the outfit who also crafted Sean's last album, including radio hits "Down" and "Do You Remember," featuring Sean Paul and Lil Jon.

Beyonce implies she’s only slept with one man. Do you believe her?
It’s obvious to the men of the world that Beyonce is one sexy girl, but did she possibly serve the sexy without the sex until she hooked up with her husband Jay-z? “People would be surprised as to the lack of experiences I’ve had,” the 29-year-old pop diva tells a British mag via MediaTakeOut.com. Beyonce adds, “When I was 12, 13, I had my first boyfriend, and he was my boyfriend till I was 17. At that age, that was a long time. I’ve always been very loyal and a little more mature.”
The former Destiny’s Child leader didn’t stop there. She implied her first sexual experience was to her current husband Jay-z adding, “Though I was too young [in my previous relationship] for it to really be a boyfriend – we didn’t live together, we didn’t,...

"Dance Central" wouldn't be much of a modern music game if it didn't make a few tracks available as Dlc, and with "Dance Central 2" still in early pre-production, the elite dancers of the gaming world are going to need to make their first Kinect experience last. Ne-Yo, Lady Sovereign and Sean Paul have decided to join Lady Gaga and M.I.A. by taking the lead and putting out the title's first Dlc tracks, which are now available at 240 Ms Points each.

HollywoodNews.com: Lady Gaga already has some of the biggest hits of the past year and so it would only make sense for three of them to be included in the new DJ Hero 2 video game that is slated to hit stores on October 19.
A follow up to DJ Hero, the new game will feature over 100 of the biggest tracks from the hottest artists, remixed exclusively for the game. From Eminem’s “Not Afraid,” Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance,” David Guetta’s “Memories” feat. Kid Cudi, and Lil’ Wayne’s “Lollipop” feat. Static Major music fans will find more than a handful of songs to entertain themselves.
“The individual songs that have been mixed into the DJ Hero 2 soundtrack have been viewed online more than 1.5 billion times, which really speaks volumes to both the size and scope of our music,” said Dan Neil, Music Director, FreeStyleGames. “Working with some of...

It's not a roll-out for another double album, but Nelly is gearing up for the release of his next project via two separate singles: One is the party-friendly "Tippin' in Da Club" and the other, a more laid-back number, is titled "Just a Dream."
Both songs were recently serviced to radio and will appear on the St. Louis rapper's forthcoming LP, 5.0, due to arrive November 16. Dropping dual singles is similar to the way Nelly introduced one of his past projects, 2004's Sweat and Suit. The two albums were released on the same day, but with different themes — one aimed at the clubs and the other targeted toward the ladies.
