‘Lopez v. Lopez’ Adds Melissa Fumero, Danny Trejo, Judge Marilyn Milian, Erik Griffin as Guest Stars
Melissa Fumero, Danny Trejo are set to guest star in the May 2 episode of “Lopez v. Lopez.”
Fumero will play Natalia, a Latina mother who mistakes Mayan for white, while Trejo plays Danny Martinez of Martin-e.Z. Movers, who is George’s rival and biggest competitor.
Additionally, Judge Marilyn Milian and Erik Griffin will appear in the episode, with character details not yet revealed.
Fumero is best known for starring as Amy Santiago opposite Andy Samberg in NBC’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.” Recently, she voice acted in Samberg’s adult animated Comedy Central series “Digman!” and HBO Max’s adult animated series “Velma.” In 2022, she appeared in the IFC comedy film “Barfight!” and the Netflix comedy “Blockbuster.” Other prominent credits include “One Life to Live,” “Gossip Girl,” “Royal Pains,” “CSI: NY” and “The Mentalist.” As a director, she has worked on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Grand Crew,” “Gordita Chronicles” and the upcoming Freevee comedy “Primo.

Eyeconic Pictures, the recently formed production company from Al Bravo and Niko Foster, has announced that Mena Suvari (“American Beauty”) has joined the cast of action thriller “The Wrecker,” which stars Foster.
Tyrese Gibson (“The Fast and Furious” movie franchise) and Harvey Keitel (“Reservoir Dogs”) were previously announced to the cast. Chad Michael Collins, Ego Mikitas and Danny Trejo round out the key cast.
Production is currently taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Danny Trejo, the actor whose credits include Heat, From Dusk Till Dawn and Con Air, will publish his memoir with Atria Books, the publisher announced today. Titled Trejo: My Life of Crime, Redemption, and Hollywood will be released July 6.

The upcoming “Swamp Thing” series at DC Universe has cast two major roles.
Andy Bean will play series regular character Alec Holland, and Derek Mears will play the titular character, Swamp Thing.
Bean’s character, Alec Holland, is a passionate biologist who finds himself in nightmarish circumstances as he realizes that the bizarre disease affecting townspeople may have come as a result of his work in the swamp.
