October is Lgbt History Month, which means it's a great excuse to celebrate all of the queer women who came before you. Like you could watch tonight's episode of The Playboy Club to see Colbie Callait play Lesley Gore, the '60s pop star who came out as a lesbian years later.

I had high hopes for 2008, and it turned out to be a dynamic year!
Times were stressful and sad for some, yet out of the ashes rose a unified Lgbt community and plenty of entertaining memories!
Here are some highlights of a few of the memorable things that happened this past year... here is the Lez Get Real Lesbian Year in Review 2008!
January
Oregon enjoys a new anti-discrimination law that benefits LGBTs. New Hampshire becomes the 4th state to offer Civil Unions to it's residents. Paris Hilton was spotted at lesbian bar Falcon in Los Angeles for the second time. Season 5 of The L Word premieres on Showtime. Lindsay Lohan is reported to be dating DJ Samantha Ronson.
February
Domestic Partnerships begin in Oregon. Lawrence (Leisha) King is killed on Valentine's Day; an Lgbt child shot in the head at school by a classmate in California. Ellen Degeneres discusses the...
