Gian Piero Rotoli grew up in Naples and then moved to New York with his
parents where he graduated from The Dwight high school in 1996. He then
moved back to Rome where he started his training as an actor at Duse
Studio International, held by Francesca De Sapio, and also graduated with honors
at John Cabot University in English Literature. In 2005 was cast by
Giorgio Capitani for the TV movie Callas e Onassis (2005), starring Luisa Ranieri and Gérard Darmon and few
months later he was also cast by John Kent Harrison for another TV movie: Faith: Pope John Paul II (2005),
starring Jon Voight.
He attended the same high school of two of the
components of the rock band "The Strokes". He graduated at The Dwight
High School in 1996, while the others in 1997.
He studied at Teatro Azione directed by Cristiano Censi and
Isabella Del Bianco.
He attended the national Italian film school Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia directed by Giancarlo Giannini: course in acting CSC LAB.
