The Whale is a movie directed by Darren Aronofsky starring Brendan Fraser whom we guess will win the Oscar… and an excellent Sadie Sink,
This movie is based on a play by Samuel D. Hunter.
As it can be with you, we didn´t feel like watching it at all and it surprised us in many ways.
It is as expected: extremely melodramatic and yes, it is about a man with hyper obesity.
Storyline
A university professor who can barely get out of his chair. He teaches online and his obesity points to the evident: if he does not do something about it, he will die within a few days.
Movie Review The Whale
Extremely melodramatic, this movie is not a feel good movie nor a happy outing to the movies film. From the very first frame, Brendan Fraser takes a gamble in interpretation and he will be remembered for...

There are transformative performances, and then there is what Brendan Fraser did for “The Whale.” The actor is almost unrecognizable under layers of makeup and prosthetics as he portrays a 600-lb. man in Darren Aronofsky’s dark drama based on the play by Samuel D. Hunter.
“It’s gonna be like something you haven’t seen before,” Fraser recently said of his performance. “That’s really all I can tell you…The wardrobe and costume was extensive, seamless, cumbersome. This is certainly far removed from anything I’ve ever done but not to be coy…I do know it’s going to make a lasting impression.”
That lasting impression may leave Fraser well-positioned to compete for Oscar gold next year. Aronofsky has a very strong track record when it comes to directing actors. Ellen Burstyn was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in “Requiem for a Dream...

We're less than 48 hours away from the close of Round 3 voting (Round closes Saturday evening at 11:59pm) and there's a huge upset brewing. Right now Merlin is kicking the crap out of Glee, while in more expected news, Arrow is having a tough time of it against Teen Wolf.
Before you make your final decision, let's celebrate the hotness of each show ... but we'll sidestep the usual suspects and pay tribute to the supporting beefcake. That's where the true flavor is. We'll start with Merlin vs. Glee
Colin Morgan, Bradley James, blah, blah, blah. Yes, they're hot, but how about a little love for Rupert Young (Sir Leon), Tom Hopper (Sir Percival) and Eoin Macken (Gwaine).
Stoner Brett (Ryan Heinke) may be unkempt and reek of weed, but this hot ginger is sweet-natured and well ... mellow. He might not be ... typical beefcake , but he definitely gives us the munchies.
