Waterloo Road star Holly Kenny has revealed that she is thrilled with her alter ego Sambuca Kelly's emotional departure storyline. In recent weeks, viewers have seen Sambuca forced to deal with the heartbreaking news that she has incurable brain cancer. The character has featured on the show since 2009. Sambuca's story comes to an end in next week's episode of the BBC One drama as she makes an attempt to find her estranged father in Blackpool, unaware that her day in the seaside resort will be her last.
