Lidiya Reztsova

Lidiya Alekseevna Reztsova is Soviet artist-animator of the pre-war generation. She was born in Saratov.
In 1928-31 Lidiya Reztsova studied at the Saratov Art College, worked as an artist in the club in Volsk at the Bolshevik factory. In Moscow, she began working as an animator at the Mosfilm film studio, and since 1936 - at the Soyuzmultfilm. In 1941-43 Lidiya was in evacuation. Since 1965 - retired.
According to art critics, she possessed the style of "male" (dynamic) animation. In 2007, was published the 81st issue of the journal "Cinema Notes". In it, Kirill Malyantovich recalls the animators of Soyuzmultfilm, including Lydia Reztsova.
