AGC Studios will finance, produce and sell the thriller, which will be a hot package at the upcoming EFM.
Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated writer Zach Baylin (King Richard), wrote the screenplay based on The Silent Brotherhood, the book by Kevin Flynn and Gary Gerhardt that chronicles the escalating crimes of the titular white supremist domestic terror group.
In 1983, a series of increasingly violent bank robberies, counterfeiting operations and armored car heists frightened communities throughout the Pacific Northwest. As baffled law enforcement agents scrambled for answers, a lone FBI agent (Law), stationed in the sleepy, picturesque town of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, came to believe the crimes were not the work of traditional, financially motivated criminals but a group of dangerous domestic terrorists, inspired by a radical,...

Steve Newlin, True Blood’s most loathsome Fellowship of the Sun leader-turned-traitorous vampire, may have met the true death at the end of last season, but it turns out that wasn’t actually the last we’d hear from him. Actor Michael McMillian and True Blood associate producer Gianna Sobol have written the hilarious Steve Newlin’s Field Guide to Vampires (And Other Creatures of Satan), which hits shelves on November 26. But before you get your hands on this definitive tome, you can ask Michael everything you ever wanted to know about “fangers” during our live Very VH1 Spreecast on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Et.
What’s next for Michael? What does Jason Stackhouse smell like? What’s Anna Camp up to these days? Do vampires have an after-after life? (And can we visit Eric Northman there?) Those are some of the questions we might have for him, but we...

There's a lot of love between the cast of "True Blood," even if it means supporting an actor who was recently killed off the show. The man behind the late Steve Newlin, Michael McMillian, held a book launch event for his novel "Steve Newlin's Field Guide to Vampires" at West Hollywood, Calif.'s Book Soup on Nov. 18, and his fellow castmembers Deborah Ann Woll and Anna Camp showed their support by attending.
"Steve Newlin's Field Guide to Vampires (And Other Creatures of Satan)" is slated to be released on Nov. 26. Zap2it spoke with McMillian at San Diego Comic-Con about what drew him and co-writer, "True Blood" associate producer Gianna Sobol (second from the left, above), to the project.
"The idea behind the book is that it was [Steve Newlin's] journal when he was a human, and the research he was doing on vampires and the supernatural world from the time during...

Spoiler alert! If you haven’t watched this week’s True Blood, stop reading now.
Everyone’s favorite turncoat, Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian), finally met the sun in Sunday’s episode when ex-wife Sarah (Anna Camp) opened the ceiling at Vamp Camp and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) refused to let Steve flee or feed from Bill (Stephen Moyer). Watch the scene below.
McMillian phoned EW this afternoon from Kansas, where he’s visiting relatives and watched the episode last night with his mother. “I had warned my parents that I was going to be leaving the show this season, but I didn’t tell them how.

"True Blood" fans who loved the show's recently released cookbook will love the next treat coming at them from HBO Global Licensing and Chronicle Books. Michael McMillian teamed with "True Blood" associated producer Gianna Sobol to write a new book called "Steve Newlin's Field Guide to Vampires" that shares the Fellowship of the Sun leader-turned-gay vampire's take on the supernatural world in the hit HBO show.
"The idea behind the book is that it was his journal when he was a human, and the research he was doing on vampires and the supernatural world from the time during and after Season 2 and before he was turned into a vampire sometime during Season 4," McMillian tells Zap2it during an interview at San Diego Comic-Con.

Another companion book for "True Blood," Steve Newlin’s Field Guide to Vampires, is coming this fall, and we have a sneak peek of it along with a preview of next week's Episode 6.07, "In the Evening."
The full title of the book is Steve Newlin's Field Guide to Vampires (And Other Creatures of Satan). It's written by Gianna Sobol with Michael McMillian, who plays Newlin on the show. It will be available October 29th from Chronicle Books.
Synopsis
The vampires, werewolves, faeries, and other supernatural creatures that call Bon Temps, Louisiana, home aren’t universally accepted around town. Sweet-talking, bible-thumping Steve Newlin is their self-appointed nemesis. In his demented field guide, Steve has recorded all he knows about these Creatures of Satan, and that’s a lot: their strengths, their weaknesses, their bylaws, and, of course, how to kill them.

If you're busy planning your "True Blood" Season 6 premiere party, this official cocktail should be just the thing to liven up your cocktail list. Zap2it can exclusively reveal a new drink out of the upcoming "True Blood" cookbook, "True Blood Drinks & Bites."
Called "Lumière Sparklers," the non-alcoholic beverage includes a ginger and rosemary-infused simple syrup, sparkling apple cider and unsweetened pomegranate juice. The virgin cocktail is an homage to the Lumière Fruit the fairies ate in "True Blood" Season 5. Hopefully this drink doesn't have the same negative side effects that the fruit it's based on did. You can find the full recipe by clicking on the image below.
"True Blood Drinks & Bites" was written by Gianna Sobol, Alan Ball and Benjamin Hayes, with recipes by Dawn Yanigahara. It's due in stores on June 11. In addition to the Lumière Sparklers, there are recipes for Scorn Fritters, Cheese Stakes, Maenad a Trois and Vamp Repellent.

The wait for the debut of Season Four of HBO's "True Blood" this summer just got a bit more tolerable with the launch of "Inside True Blood", a production blog being written by Gianna Sobol, who has been working for Alan Ball for the past two years.
Here's a sample of the type of goodies you can expect Gianna to share:
It's early February, and episode 403 is shooting at an undisclosed location just outside of sunny (but surprisingly cold) Los Angeles. The halls of the production office are bustling. Everyone is talking about how insanely talented Fiona Shaw is. Rebecca Wisocky just came in for a fitting. Our script coordinator Daniel is rushing out new pages. Post-production is delivering their watermarked dailies to all the powers that be.
