You may know her as Jamie Lloyd or Annie Brackett from the Halloween franchise, but right now actress and filmmaker Danielle Harris is providing viewers with another enthralling performance with her role as Amy Barrett in Christopher Lawrence Chapman's new film, Inoperable. A mind-bending experience that blends psychological Twilight Zone-esque scares with gory hospital horror, Inoperable is out now in select theaters from Zorya Films and Millman Productions, and Daily Dead recently had the great pleasure of speaking with Harris about her unique new role and the ambitious approach to filming Inoperable, and she also shared her hopes for the future of the Halloween franchise.
Hi Danielle, and congratulations on Inoperable. It feels like a mix of Groundhog Day and The Twilight Zone, but it still has its own personality. Watching it for the first time was such a mind-bending experience, so what was it like when you...

Through the past eight weeks, Lifetime cameras have been documenting Anthony D'Amico and Ashley Petta, Cody Knapek and Danielle DeGroot and Nate Duhon and Sheila Downs' respective marriages ever since they took a leap of faith and decided to say "I Do" after meeting at—you guessed it—first sight. With help from Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Rachel DeAlto, these couples tried to...

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are notoriously low-key, private celebrities, rarely giving interviews and even more rarely being photographed while going about their daily lives as luxury fashion designers and generally fabulous people. In fact, these two just might be part of the tiny handful of millennial women who don’t and have never had a social media presence, making their first appearance on Vine in 2014 in a video they thought was a photo and posting their first ever and only selfie just last year. So when these sisters do crop up on Instagram, it’s kind of a big deal.

The three couples on Married at First Sight meet for the first time on this week’s episode — and there’s a big case of awkward when Cody Knapek comes right out and tells everyone he and Danielle DeGroot haven’t had sex yet. The embarrassing moment comes as the couples all sit around the table and explain to each other what they think their biggest problems are. For the other two couples the issues seem relatively minor. Ashley Petta addresses how she is struggling to accept taking on husband Anthony D’Amico’s last name. Anthony tries to make a point by fake-whispering across...read more...

The premiere of The Bachelor’s 18th season introduced Juan Pablo Galavis to the 27 women who will be vying for a rose and his heart over the next few months.

Time for "The Bachelor," you guys! Happy New Year to us, right?
Juan Pablo's opening montage lasts approximately five seconds before he's shirtless, but at least he's not soaping up in the shower like Sean Lowe. Remember that? It was weird.
There's some pretty sexy footage of Jp playing soccer, which he did professionally for seven years. But it all gets cuter when there's footage of him goofing around with his daughter Camila, who is named Camila Valentina because she was born on Valentine's Day. She's so cute you could eat her right up.
Plus, Camila and Juan Pablo's parents are going to live in Los Angeles with him while the first few weeks of the "Bachelor" tape, which is terrific. He keeps calling her "my chiquituri," and are they the most adorable parent/child pair to appear on this show? Very possibly.

NBC’s The Voice has a lot of fantastic qualities — stellar vocalists, positive energy, the limitation of Christina Milian’s ineptitude to two or three mercifully brief interview segments per episode — but subtlety ain’t one of ‘em.
Indeed, a cursory examination of the performance order from last week’s Top 10 telecast and this week’s Top 8 show reveals that certain contestants have been unfairly marooned in top-of-the-episode “death slots” that veteran reality TV viewers know are synonymous with results-night exits. To be more specific, this week’s 1-2-3-4 solo performance slots were mired in the 2-1-3-5 slots last week.

“Take Down That Million”
Airs Sundays at 8pm (Et) on CBS
What truly makes a strong team on The Amazing Race? The obvious answer is athleticism, but plenty of powerful young pairs have left early. Scanning through the winners, most are capable at physical challenges but don’t always stand out as the team to beat. Two weeks ago, Abbie and Ryan were eliminated purposely by the others due to their status as a threat. This felt like the right move because Josh and Brent have struggled at many tasks. Even so, their ease at handling mental challenges made them a deceptive choice to keep afloat. Unlike a show like Survivor, it’s problematic to try and manipulate who sticks around because future legs are unknown. There’s no jury at the end to choose the most worthy player. Instead, all it takes is...

Who will win Big Brother 14? Will it be Dan, the masterful Svengali who deceived Danielle like a regular Lon Chaney? How about Ian, the nervous newbie who is definitely pacing at this second? Or what about Danielle, the underdog who pretty much doesn't deserve to be in the house? I'm torqued to find out (and I'm rooting for Dan, bien sur), but before we conclude this season, let's take a look back at nine times when Big Brother 14 didn't mind going a little gay.
1. Ian's exhibitionism
Sudden nudity, erratic disco dancing, self-spanking -- Ian was a wacky little freak in the first episodes of Big Brother 14. Though he eventually cooled, he was a flitty twink in pink boxer shorts for a little while there. Personally, I relished it.
2. The exotic headwear at the first coaches' challenge
Remember when the coaches were actually coaches? I know, barely. The one good thing...

Parting is such sweet sorrow, Chenbot! Fortunately we snagged host Julie Chen for one more chat before tonight’s 90-minute finale of Big Brother. Will the jury members vote with their hearts or their heads? Will the student triumph over her teacher, or visa versa? Has Dan unseated Dr. Will as Bb’s best player ever?
Entertainment Weekly Alright sister, let’s play out scenarios. If it were Danielle versus Dan in the final two, how do you think the jury will vote?

Danielle has nominated Wil and Frank for eviction in the "Big Brother 14" house, as the coaches have entered the game. And that's where we are.
Post Nominations
Wil is mad about being nominated, since Danielle did say right to his face that he would be safe. But the anger dissipates as Danielle collapses into tears. Oh, don't be sucked in by her big cow eyes, Wil. But instead they just have a big ol' come-to-Jesus moment as the plinky-plunky strains of Stockholm Syndrome play.
Meanwhile, the Boogie/Frank bromance continues, as Boogie is convinced he's being backdoored and they bond over how awesome they are and how much they hate everybody else. Boogie goes to Dan, still mad about the plan that never happened to get Frank out. Boogie ironically says he would've ended up looking like a "big f***ing idiot" if that happens, while standing there in a...

It usually takes until at least week 3 for the bonkers behavior to get going in the Big Brother house. Luckily for us, the first week included an identity revelation (yep, Willie’s a Hantz!), a megalomaniac speech (yep, Hantz will eat his Froot Loops!), and a thrilling Head of Household competition (yep, that was Hantz having a temper tantrum when his new nemesis Frank won!). And as always, guiding us through the choppy waters of crazy is host Julie Chen, who called in to discuss her early thoughts on this season.

Big Brother 14 Season Premiere Review: It's A Whole New Big Brother Game
After the events of tonight's Big Brother, "wow" is too low of a description to give the show this year..
Big Brother returned to TV tonight with a huge bang of surprises, twists, and a whole barrage of information that I'm still deciphering just what the hell just went down. So let's try to make sense of it all, shall we?
Besides being a group filled with YouTube celebrities, musicians, and other minor fame-whoring qualities, the new Big Brother House Guests seem like an interesting bunch, but they haven't necessarily won me over as a whole just yet. However, while Wil, Willie, and Ian are already headed to be favorites of mine, it's not to the point where I am itching to follow a "Team Willie" account on Twitter anywhere. Hell, even the returns of Mike Boogie, Janelle,...

Summer has officially begun! Big Brother season 14 is finally here! Head of Households, Back Doors, P.O.V. Competitions, throwing people on the block, allies, that delicious slop and eviction nights! Julie Chen, how we've missed you and that fab face glitter you sparkle with! Expect the unexpected folks, because this season's twist brings back four alumni to play the game. But instead of playing the game with the rest of the newbies, they will be coaches. They'll pick teams, live in the house and have the opportunity to win big: the coach of the winning houseguest will pocket $100,000 while the one who's standing after the final four will take home $500,000.

It's time to pick a winner before the "Big Brother 14" shenanigans begin with Thursday night's (July 12) premiere episode and first night of live feeds/"Big Brother After Dark." The last time Zap2it did this, we correctly predicted Hayden would win (though our alliance he would be with was way off).
Now, the twist this season is past hamsters returning as mentors (and we know who the mentors are, if you want to be spoiled). That will not factor in here, which will probably hurt our predictions, since some mentors will probably be better than others. But here we go ...
(Caveat: chef Joe Arvin is not included here. He was a last-minute replacement cast member, so we have not met him and therefore have absolutely no impression to use in predicting how he'll do).
Contestant: JoJo Spatafora
Odds: 12-1
Something about this girl rubs us the wrong way - could...

He is a man that has gone by many names: Benjamin. Coach. Dragonslayer. Zenslayer. Maestro. Zeus. And now Survivor’s Benjamin Wade can add one more moniker to that list: Thespian. That’s right, Coach will be making his feature film debut playing a hedonistic rock star trying to rekindle past glory in the new independent movie 180, which will be released for digital download Feb. 21 via iTunes, YouTube Movies, and CinemaNow. And Coach is not the only Survivor veteran to appear in 180. Danielle Dilorenzo (Survivor: Panama and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains) also stars in the film as Coach’s manager...

So it all comes down to Porsche Briggs, Adam Poch and Rachel Reilly in the "Big Brother 13" house. Who do you think takes it? According to our poll, Rachel is the clear-cut winner in a landslide. We shall see.
Head of Household Competition
In case you don't follow the live feeds, the show shows us the first round of the Hoh - which in an incredible display of weakness, took about 45 minutes. People were joking all over twitter that the next round should be things like who can stay seated the longest or who can sleep the longest. Seriously, this was weak sauce.
But anyway, so Rachel wins. The second round involves placing "Big Brother" contestant heads along a wall in a giant water tank in order they were HOHs. Porsche says it's a lot harder than it looks, but honestly - that looks pretty hard.

I could not be happier with how this season of Big Brother is playing out. I mean, there are times when I've gotten extremely upset during this season of CBS' hit reality series. I knew going into this season that I would be rooting for Jeff and Jordan. As I've said before, I've been following the two since Big Brother 11. They made a guest apperance on Big Brother 12 and competed on a season of The Amazing Race. Heck, don't be surprised to see the pair on a season of Survivor somewhere down the road. All jokes aside, Jeff made a bold move last night and although it makes me very happy, there's a lot that can go wrong between now and eviction night. According to the Big Brother live feeds, Jeff used his Pov to take Porsche off the eviction block. Who did he put up as a replacement nominee?...

Here is Sean Furfaro's recap of Big Brother, Episode 12.
Television's most dysfunctional couple is on the verge of being split up this week, as Rachel and Brendon have been nominated for eviction. Will the Power of Veto competition save one of them from the chopping block?
My Random Thoughts:
- After the nomination ceremony, Rachel started crying immediately in the Diary Room, threatening Danielle that she would draw the sword of Excaliber, all the while saying “Guess what?” approximately 57 times. Meanwhile, Buki Brendon tried to positive spin things talking about their future together…
Cue the waterworks.
Jesus Christ, are you kidding me? 3 minutes into the episode, I already have to watch these two cry and whine to each other? Is it just me…or is this as painful to everyone else as well? It’s unbearable.
- I loved how in the middle of this sugary, soft music, moment between these two idiots,...

Here is Sean Furfaro's recap of Big Brother, Episode 11.
When we left off on Thursday’s Live Eviction episode, the houseguests were perched on a wall balancing on a swinging pair of skis, while trying to deal with the wall moving, and fake storms in the backyard. Who would emerge as HoH after the season’s first endurance competition? What is the fallout from the House Meeting Blowup? And why is Adam dressed like an Elf?
My Random Thoughts:
- The completion of the HoH competition took the first third of the episode, and there’s not really a lot to talk about, so I’ll just summarize: Danielle made it look effortless, Lawon, Brendon, and Jordan all became Have Nots for the week, Jeff won $10,000, Shelly talked a good game but still lost, Porsche doesn’t know where her shoulder is, Rachel wanted 10K instead of consoling “her man...

Here is Sean Furfaro's recap of Big Brother, Episode 9.
Adam and Dominic are back on the block for the second week in a row, but will The Mama’s Boy (or the Metalhead) be able to save themselves once again by winning the Power of Veto? Why is everyone covered in soap? And why is Jordan thinking about farting?
My Random Thoughts:
- Adam is such a sap. Right after the nomination ceremony, he and Dominic were talking to Rachel in the Have Not room, and he thanked her, saying “you’re giving us a chance to play for our lives." He came across as grateful for being nominated. I know that he’s a superfan, and ruffling feathers in the house is never the way to go, especially when you’re on the block, but thanking the HoH for nominating you? Outrageous.
- Dominic had another flirty conversation with Dani,...

Here is Sean Furfaro's recap of Big Brother, Episode 6.
Tonight's episode of Big Brother feature the weekly Pov competition. Will Adam or Dominic be able to save their Duo from the chopping block? Who's causing all the shenanigans? And why is Rachel in the bushes?
My Random Thoughts:
- Rachel’s sing-song voice in the Diary Room is really getting to me, along with her constant obsession with floaters. 2 seasons now, and every time I hear her, I want to rip my own ears off. And those furry boots she is wearing in the house are ridiculous.
- Everybody was in fight mode this episode: houseguests telling Adam and Dominic to “fight” after nominations, everyone talking about “fighting for the veto”, along with supportive messages to “keep on fighting." I felt like it was an Mma pre-card special.
- Adam’s shirt said “Put Bacon on my Bacon”, which made me laugh,...

I was skeptical after hearing that there would be returning contestants on Big Brother this season, especially after just sitting through a season of Survivor: Redemption Island with Boston Rob and Russell in the forefront, but I have to admit that CBS did a good job picking who they brought back. The 6 returnees are way more interesting than the 8 new players. We’ll see if that holds true for the whole season…it certainly did for tonight’s second episode.
My Random Thoughts:
- Watching the black & white recap of the Golden Key reveal last week, which happened right after the Going Bananas HoH competition, all I could think to myself was “Those couches are going to get filthy from them all sitting there in the dirty clothes from the competition." Anyone else?
- Look, I get that the Golden Key is a big change in the game, but...

Here is Sean Furfaro's recap of the Big Brother Season Premiere.
The Season Premiere of Big Brother 13 was this week, so we can all look forward to another summer of scripted Nomination and Power of Veto ceremonies, and Julie "But First" Chen. I was unable to watch the premiere until Sunday since I was in Las Vegas, so that's why this recap is coming so much later than normal. I have finally watched it, and since there isn't really a lot to discuss other than the HoH competition, and the twists that have been announced, let me start off with my first impressions of the new houseguests after only one episode.
Dominic the Mama's Boy – A motorcycle-riding virgin who lives with mom. Can you really call yourself an "Adrenalin Junkie" when you can't even fold your own clothes?
Cassi the Eye-Candy – Loves Country Music, fishing, and drinking a beer (all at once?...

"Big Brother 13" has started with a bang, as host Julie Chen dropped no less than three bombs on the contestants. We are so thrilled Evel Dick is back [*sarcasm*]. But let's see how we got there ...
Julie welcomes us and says the eight newbies are going to be forced to pick a partner to play the game with, then three former pairs are returning to play again. Not a huge shock, once they revealed the "Double Trouble"/"Dynamic Duo" twist when they announced the contestants.
I have no predictions as far as the pairs go, but having met the eight newbies - I really, really hope Kalie and Shelly team up. They were my faves by far.
Meet the New Hamsters
So in the intro packages, Dominic seems much more pathetic than he seemed in real life, with the "living with mom thing." Cassi comes across as the sweet girl she seemed when I met her.

The interwoven kaleidoscope of the residents of a small east coast town and their familiar and relatable circumstances are explored in the socially conscious drama series River Ridge.
The fictional town of River Ridge serves as the landscape for a pleathora of tales, exploring the foundations of a community and its citizens. Distant sisters (Signy Coleman, Julie Pinson) confronting their dysfunctional past, lovers (Jon Prescott, Danielle Dilorenzo) who have lost their way, an economically plauged mother (Beth Ehlers) battling the unraveling affects of mental illness and the damaging influence it has on her children (Carrie Watt, Seth Ford), a couple (Shannon Sturges, Mark Doherty) threatened by their baggage attempt to keep their blossoming relationship intact, a star athlete (Matthew Daniell) struggling to define his indentity, and two teenagers (Matt McAbee, Christina Jackson) navigating unexpected love in the midst of intolerance and predjudice, create a patchwork of interconnected stories in this hyper-cinematic drama.
