Yuki was born in Nara, Japan. In 2000 she moved to
the USA for studying abroad and in the spring 2005, she graduated BFA
as visual effects major from Academy of Art University, in San
Francisco, California.
She got her invaluable start in the freelance division, where she
earned all aspects of the digital visual effects industry. Later she
moved to Los Angeles, and worked as a Matchmove Technical Director at
Rhythm & Hues for the future film "Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties".
Then she joined the TV show "Aquaman: Mercy Reef/ Pilot" at Entity FX
and the feature film "Across the Universe" at Prologue Films. Afterward
she returned to Japan, and worked at NTT Media Lab as a digital
compositor and matchmove artist. She entered in more than 10 projects
of visual effects including the feature film "Tokyo Tower: Mom and Me,
and Sometimes Dad", which was won the Best Picture at Award of the
Japanese Academy in 2008. Currently she is working as a Matchmove
Technial Director at Rhythm & Hues in Los Angeles, California.
