Sen. Mike Lee perpetuated an unfounded conspiracy theory that federal agents or informants were among the rioters on Jan. 6 and that one may have flashed a law enforcement badge during the attack (in reality, it was a vape). In two posts to X (formerly Twitter) over the weekend, the Republican indulged in a Maga disinformation campaign.
Lee quoted a post from former Jan. 6 committee member Liz Cheney that contained footage of the Capitol attack, writing, “Liz, we’ve seen footage like that a million times. You made sure we saw that—and nothing else.

Update (1/20): Joseph Biggs, an organizer with the Proud Boys, is the latest to be arrested and charged for participating in the riot at the U.S. Capitol earlier this month, NBC News reports. Biggs was seen in several videos and photos taken inside the Capitol, including one where he pulled down his face mask and yelled, “This is awesome.” Biggs faces three charges: obstructing, influencing, or impeding an official proceeding, knowingly entering a restricted building and willfully engaging in disorderly conduct to impede a session of Congress.

Mr Motivator has departed BBC One's gymnastics show Tumble.
The fitness expert and former GMTV personality dislocated his knee during a trial run of the show.
Mr Motivator, whose real name is Derrick Evans, will need to undergo surgery to correct the damage done to his knee.
Evans said that he was "devastated" not to be able to continue in what he describes as an "amazing experience".
"A heartfelt thanks goes to all the team but especially my gymnastics partner Kerry and coach Alberto, who have been so supportive and brilliant to work with - I'm sorry our journey has been broken this way," he added.
Former Blue Peter presenter Peter Duncan will replace Evans, it has been reported.
BBC recently released the first cast photo for its upcoming primetime show.
Contestants include Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah, EastEnders star John Partridge, and Girls Aloud member Sarah Harding.

When I recently met author, strategist and coach Tony Robbins backstage at a taping of Oprah Winfrey's ground-breaking series Lifeclass, the first thing I was struck by was his sheer size. He is a somewhat startling six-feet-seven, yet he comes across like a loving, gentle giant, and when he talks to you he gives you his full magnetic attention. He is known for being an exuberantly charming, inspiring, energetic and articulate speaker and is also a huggably nice, caring person and a generous humanitarian. The New York Times calls Tony Robbins "the high priest of human potential." In the course of his impressive career, he has advised a diversity of luminaries including Nelson Mandela, Mikhail Gorbachev, Margaret Thatcher, Mother Teresa and three U.S. presidents, and CEOs, Olympic athletes and individuals all over the world regularly consult with him for his guidance. Countless more people have been transformed by his extensive selection of books,...

There's a lot of talk these days about the UK population becoming a nation of fatties. Victims of fast food and a lazy lifestyle, there's more wobbly bits on us than ever before. Digital Spy believes that we can attribute our slide into a country of chubbies to one definitive factor - the disappearance from our TV screens of Derrick Errol Evans. You probably know him better as Mr Motivator. Motivator was introduced to our screens in the '90s and thanks to his range of high energy routines, cheeky catchphrases ("Get wicked!" "Everybody say huh!") and trademark 'zany' leotards, (more)...

Mr Motivator made his return to GMTV this morning, following an eight-year absence. The exercise guru, real name Derrick Errol Evans, donned his trademark colourful lycra, bandanna and glasses for his appearance on the breakfast programme. Evans, who first appeared on the morning show in the early 1990s, said that he was returning to the screen to help tackle Britain's growing obesity problem. "If you walk along any high street, you'll see bigger backsides than ever," he told The (more)...
