Neil Trama places a variety of musical acts and songs into Film,Television and Advertising in his role as Music Supervisor/Consultant in Los Angeles, California.
Neil Trama began his music career qualifying talent originally as a DJ, Music Producer and College Radio volunteer in NY. Later, Neil worked as a Promotions Director and Talent Buyer after relocating to San Francisco, California - Trama booked acts such as: Train, Stroke 9, Big Blue Hearts, Modern English, Galactic, Rebirth Brass Band and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
Trama's experiences working with such artists lead to his first major A&R scouting job working directly for legendary Geffen Records Director, Roberta Peterson.
A move to Los Angeles as A&R Representative reporting to Disney/Mammoth Records President Jay Faires soon followed. Trama was then offered the chance to work for Madonna's new Maverick Label as A&R Representative reporting directly to Senior VP, Russ Rieger.
As Music Supervisor/Consultant, Trama has worked with Bravo/NBC, Discovery Channel International, environmental campaigns for NRDC (National Resource Defense Council) and LCV (League of Conservation Voters). He consulted for San Francisco Ballet principal dancer, Maria Kochetkova, on special digital performances. As well as providing supervision on a variety of independent Filmmakers, Directors and Producers.
Trama has been a featured Judge/Panelist at a variety of Music Industry Showcases including: Music Supervisor Keynote Speaker for Hollywood Reporter/Billboard Film & TV Music Conference, Los Angeles, Music Supervisor Keynote Speaker for South by Southwest Film & Music Interactive, Austin TX, A&R Panelist for CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival, NYC, A&R Panelist for North X Northwest & New Media Conference Portland, Oregon, Tastemaker for Giant Step Marketing, Recipient of the Dick Van Dyke 'Respect for the Arts Award' Malibu, CA.
