- Rick Rosas (I) and Kurt Kelly (II) first met when Rosas was on tour in Detroit and Kelly was working in Michigan Radio and Television. A few years later when Kelly moved to work for ABC in Los Angeles, where he and Rosas worked together on numerous syndicated shows with Joe Walsh of The Eagles, members of Crosby, Stills, Nash, Neal Young, Los Lobos, Richard Marx, Ringo Starr, Roger Daltrey and a long list of celebrities. Over recent years, the pair had lost touch due to each other's very full schedules. In fact just before shooting his last film, the pair had plans to go back into the studio to work on new music for soundtracks for Kelly's productions, and Kurt was going to have Rick appear on the series Actors Reporter; however Rosas died after his last film wit .Meryl Streep as Ricki in, Ricki and the Flash where Rosas played Buster, Dedicatee 2015.
- During the 80's when Rick Rosas (I) was co-hosting shows together with Joe Walsh - Soloist and member of The James Gang, and The Eagles; Kurt Kelly (II) was a regular in the recording studio with Rick Rosas and Joe Walsh in between shows late at night and many time until it was time to go back on the air at ABC the next day. The trio of Kelly, Rosas, and Walsh were usually working on parody songs, writing and rehearsing comedic skits and contests for fans with members of the Saturday Night Live Cast at the time like Jon Lovitz, Dan Aykroyd, Adam Sandler, Bill Murray, Martin Short, Cassandra Peterson - Elvira, Don Novello - Father Guido Sarducci, and Jim Belushi to name a few.
- Did you know that shortly after his move from ABC Dallas to the Los Angeles Network Owned and Operated properties, Kurt Kelly began producing television, film, radio syndications and live concert broadcast; while also consulting clients for his new formed Kurt Kelly, Inc., Kurt was also flying to all ABC Owned and Operated Station to install the latest technology of music research and scheduling systems, while also attending to clients like the Rock Over London, Radio Today, Westwood One, The White House, The United Nations, New World Pictures, Revlon, The Council Of Fashion Design American, and others. In fact, Kurt Kelly [II] was asked to act in the starring role of Kurt Kelly in the 80's film Heathers (1988) by Production Companies New World Pictures; however, ABC would not grant him the time off from his already nonstop schedule for the taping of the film.
