Pic follows Gary (Walsh) and a group of his best friends as they seek revenge against a social media influencer who has scammed them of their life savings. De Hoyos is producing for Alta California Pictures, with Kaler, Jasmin Espada, Walsh and Pedro Pano co-producing.

Gerald I. Wolff, a veteran casting director and producer who worked on such films as Kiss Toledo Goodbye and James Dean: Race With Destiny, has died. He was 77.
Wolff died Sept. 22 in his sleep in his Los Angeles home, his longtime colleague and friend Judy Fox said.
Wolff started out as a dancer on TV's Howdy Doody show in the 1950s and in 1963 appeared with Liza Minnelli (then 16) and Christopher Walken in an off-Broadway rival of the musical comedy Best Foot Forward.

Actress Kate Williamson, whose film and television career spanned more than two decades, died Friday evening at her home in Encino, her manager, Judy Fox, confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. She was 82. Williamson died mere weeks after her husband, veteran character actor Al Ruscio, 89, died Nov. 12. "She had been in failing health for quite some time," Fox said in a statement. Actor Al Ruscio, whose lengthy resume included roles on “Seinfeld,” “Santa Barbara,” “7th Heaven” and many other series, died Tuesday, Ruscio’s longtime manager Judy Fox told TheWrap on Thursday. He was 89. Ruscio died in the arms of his daughter Elizabeth at his home. Also read: Hollywood’s Notable Deaths of 2013 A World War II veteran who fought at D-Day, Ruscio was born in Salem, Mass., and trained at the Neighborhood Playhouse School for the Theater in New York City before heading out to Los Angeles in the 1950s. Early roles included Rod Steiger’s 1958 film “Al Capone,” “Gunsmoke” and “77 Sunset Strip.

It's been several months since last we heard anything about writer/director Susanna Lo's Manson Girls, which focuses on the period leading up to the 1969 murders of nine people by members of Charles Manson's "Family", but finally production has begun with a half dozen or so scenes being assembled into a "sizzle reel".
