- I learned two words a long time ago that help out a lot: 'Screw it.' If something's bothering you, don't dwell on it. Just let it go. Worrying ain't gonna do nothing but make it worse.
- Chase your dreams. They don't come to you.
- I would not be where I am today without American Idol! I will thank them!
- I don't think I have any regrets in my life, no. The only thing I can think of though is when my stepfather passed away. I was 18-years-old. He was a great guy who meant a lot to me and we really got along great. He had a massive heart attack cutting the grass and the day he died he came in and started fussing about the grass getting cut. But he hadn't realized that he had only told just some of the people in the house, not everybody. We actually had a fuss right before he died. That was bad and something I can't do anything about now. I still 'talk' to him just about every night so I'm sure he's forgiven me.
- I didn't do any mechanical work with motors, but I would cut a car in half, put it back together, weld it, and then paint it. Anything past the fan, I didn't touch. Hats off to the mechanics that do that 'cause that aggravates the crap out of me!
