‘Chicago P.D.’: Sophia Bush Went on a Raid With the Chicago Police While Taking Down a Heroin Dealer
It’s been several seasons since Sophia Bush played Detective Erin Lindsay on Chicago P.D., but her legacy is still present. Not only was she part of the cast that successfully launched the second installment of the One Chicago universe after P.D. spawned from Chicago Fire, but she left an indelible impression on fans.
Chicago P.D. is now in its 10th season. Bush left after Season 4, which means she’s been gone for more than half the series. However, while on the show, she made every effort to portray the realities of being a police officer in Chicago. According to the actor, this included donning bulletproof vests during ride-alongs that led to real-life arrests.

As with many stars on the One Chicago shows, Bush was based in Chicago while a cast member on Chicago P.D. Detective Lindsay was an early Fire-p.

Dr. Sam Griffith (Sophia Bush) faces a challenge in the March 30 episode of Good Sam as a devastating storm hits and the hospital staff must improvise in TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek. “Governor just declared a state of emergency,” Dr. Caleb Tucker (Michael Stahl-David) reports. “They’re closing the roads.” So how will the on-call doctors get to the hospital? He suggests sending the ambulances, but as Dr. Rob “Griff” Griffith (Jason Isaacs) points out, they’re “going to be a little busy right now.” The doctors realize the only people who will be coming in are more patients. Ramona Diaconescu/CBS And there’s another problem: With so many trauma cases, they will run short on blood. “Can we call the Red Cross?” Sam suggests, but her father points out they, too, will be facing shortages. Dr. Joey Costa (Davi Santos) sums their situation up best: “So we’re almost at capacity,...

Asking for help is not in Rob “Griff” Griffith’s nature. But the brusque doctor—who is still recovering from being shot, spending six months in a coma and waking to find his daughter, Sam (Sophia Bush), in his role as chief of cardiothoracic surgery at their Detroit hospital—has no choice in the March 23 episode of Good Sam. With his body inexplicably in revolt, causing him to drop surgical instruments, he sees a therapist at Sam’s urging. Isaacs won’t spoil that casting (Bush’s former One Tree Hill costars Bethany Joy Lenz and Hilarie Burton also appear tonight as a patient accompanied by her sister), but he offers this preview. Ramona Diaconescu/CBS What are Griff’s thoughts on therapy? Jason Isaacs: It’s offensively ludicrous to him, but he does it with hopefully entertaining and dramatic results. There are corners of his soul that are unearthed to him,...
