Max Tsui (Cantonese Name: Tsui Yiu-Chung) was born on October 29, 1979 in Munich, Germany. He is a German director and cinematographer, known for Darth Maul: Apprentice (2016), World of Wolfram (2016) and Scorpion (2018)
Max studied cinematography at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Germany. In 2018 he attended the International Film Festival PROlogue as an honorable guest and a jury member.
Won several international commercial Awards, including Young Directors Award in Cannes, Andy Award in New York, Black Dolphin for Best director at Cannes Corporate Media & TV Award.
His Cantonese Name is Tsui Yiu-Chung which means "good for the family".
Worked in Uzbekistan without knowing any Russian and Uzbek Language.
